Thanks Gergely for your dedication to trying Holacracy on your own, and for writing your reports. Very inspiring!

Love your inquiries +Gergely Orbán!  One tip for your investigation: Holacracy is a system to help organization better work toward their "Purpose". So, the success or failure of using Holacracy needs to be measured against that metric: is the organization expressing its purpose more, or less?

Of course it begs the question: how do we measure how we're tracking toward the org's purpose? It's a complex question, but I think it's the one that ultimately matters if you want to answer Holacracy's effectiveness.

Good luck!

Interesting approach Marcius! Indeed the Lead Link defines the strategy of the circle by default, but that can be changed through the governance process. At HolacracyOne, we use a specific Strategy Meeting format defined in a policy. If you're interested in seeing what it's like, it's under "Policy: Strategy Meeting Process" https://glassfrog.holacracy.org/circles/25#_policies

It's a great question, did you try to ask the presenter during that presentation?

A clear governance process obsoletes the need for politics to effect change in the organization. http://ow.ly/jyEe9

Hi! I started this community as a place-holder on Google+ for Holacracy, since some people will not use Facebook... :-)  But I don't have the time to energize it, unfortunately. If anyone is so inspired, feel free to use that space and roll with it...!

Painful meetings are a symptom of deeper issues: a deeper lack of clarity around the authorities in the organization, and the power structure. Holacracy changes that, come learn how it works in our free webinar on Dec 18: holacracy.org/events
