What are LKQ Parts?

These are often referred to as used parts as they come from salvaged vehicles. Salvage yards buy vehicles which have been severely damaged. They then inspect the vehicle for usable parts and remove and clean them. LKQ stands for Like Kind and Quality.

Can you pick up my vehicle from the scene of the accident?

Yes, we can. Depending on the circumstances, the police may require that details about the accident be recorded before the vehicles involved are moved, but we can remove your vehicle from the scene of the accident as soon as it is safe and legal to do so.

Our goal has always been to provide great service at a fair price. When we inspect a vehicle, we will always provide an honest assessment of its problems and what they will cost to fix. We do not inflate costs or invent expensive problems. The greatest testament to our integrity and to the quality of our work is that our customers keep coming back to us again and again.

What does it mean when my check engine light comes on?

Modern vehicles have many sophisticated and computerized systems that are designed to monitor engine performance and emissions. The light indicates that the sensors have detected something is wrong with your engine, but it does not give any more information than that. This is why it’s so important to bring your vehicle in to be serviced when you see the light – even if it is driving fine now, your vehicle is trying to alert you to an issue that may become a larger problem in the future.

What should I do when my vehicle overheats?

This is a much more serious problem than some people realize. If your vehicle is overheating for too long, you can damage your engine. When your car overheats, pull over to the side of the road as soon as it is safe and turn off your engine, then have your vehicle towed to Goodyear Auto Care Center for repair.
