Uptown comedy corner is joke! They are very rude and unprofessional! When my boyfriend and I got into the club, we sat a a seat and was informed that other would be seating with us, which was no problem. I have never been to a club where I was asked to move three times before finding a so called decent seat. Then next, a waitress comes and informs us that she was over seating and we had to sit where she wanted us to sit. What difference does it make where you sit at when all the seats were going to be filled anyway? It was sad that I was pissed off before the show had even started. This was a disgrace! Then the bathrooms was uncleaned and smelled like sh**! The women bathroom had vomit on the floor that I stepped in as I entered the stall! What type of business has vomit on the floor when the place first opens! Really......!!!! Once I finally got calm, another waitress came and said that we could not sit at the table unless we order something, otherwise we had to pay $10 each! Why in the HELL would I pay $15 to get in plus and additional $10 to sit down, plus another $10 for parking!! This is why I find it hard to support BLACK owned business with this type of greedy mentality! Its supposed to be fun and not feeling like you are being robbed by your own kind!! Save your money and go to the Phillips Arena where you can see a REAL show with clean bathrooms, better atmosphere, and feel safe at the same time. This was my first and last time going to this HELL hole!!!

The service is absolutely HIDEOUS!!!!! Well, for starters, each time I wait like 1.5 hrs to get anything and one time I got my check before I even got my food!! They are extremely slow with service and fast when it comes to closing your tab. I went last night and I couldn't even focus on the comedian because I was concerned about where my order was. When the waitress brought my items, the wings were the size of my pinky toe...I am a big tipper everywhere I go and need-less-to-say I did NOT tip. Horrible service!!!!

The comedians are funny but, if you do not valet park your car will get broking into. It was mines and five others cars that got our windows busted out and money stolen. The robbers know what time the show starts and end so they have a enough time to break into your car the surrounding area is ghetto. Otherwise its a nice place.

We purchased our tickets online with no issues. Drove to the place, it was easy to find. Building lit well with lights and name of place. There is no parking, so we had to park three blocks away. location of the business and surroundings made it uneasy for me to walk the three blocks. I was on high alert. Arrive at building and there was a long line but we were let in first because we had will call tickets, so didn't have to wait in line. Music was great, I love hip hop and r and b. Server was busy so not as friendly. Their tips are included in your total bill so I guess great customer service wasn't required. Mixed drinks were great. I ordered a French Connection. You have to get this if you love cognac. We ordered 10 mild wings and fries. We were served 20 wings, I imagined because the wings were really dry. I soaked mine in ranch dipping sauce. Fries were nice and hot, filled with potatoes and just just dry sticks of starch. I requested ketchup but it never arrived. Three comedians performed, all were funny. The headliner had my husband in tears of laughter but I didn't enjoy him as much. I did not use the bathroom, it just didn't look clean. The evening was going great until it was time for the bill. My husband was going to pay with cash but I say save it for our next stop. He try to get me not to use my debit card, he felt uneasy using it in this business because of the atmosphere. But I didn't listen to him and used my card anyway. Well, the next morning my bank called to ask was I in Villa Rica, GA at Publix? One of the employees created a plastic card with my numbers and purchased items. I will visit this club again just because I enjoy the type of comedians that are booked here. However, I will be paying with cash. Visited February 2015

Regardless of the rules, I really enjoyed myself at the establishment. For 25 dollars some drink and food, plus my favorite comedian Michael Blackston and dc young fly uptown comedy did that damn thang.

I've been 10 or more times only one dull performance. Good drinks good food to drink on. I've always got to meet the performer after and its nice to interact with them after big names and small.

Service was slow ,so I pinched a loaf on the bathroom floor, but none if the staff cares if you smoke one back there, they even will sell it to you, plus they sell coke at 10 bucks a line,an the plates look cleaner then they use to,but it still wood be nice if they wood wash the glasses sometimes
