Went there to see Paul Mioney and Dick Gregory. The entertainment was fine but the club operations are lacking. The seats are far too basic and uncomfortable for a seating venue, the food was subpar and way overpriced. The worst was $30 to valet park, and on the way out, the guy gave me my keys and pointed me to my car. I love Black business but I deserve better for my money.

Uptown comedy corner is joke! They are very rude and unprofessional! When my boyfriend and I got into the club, we sat a a seat and was informed that other would be seating with us, which was no problem. I have never been to a club where I was asked to move three times before finding a so called decent seat. Then next, a waitress comes and informs us that she was over seating and we had to sit where she wanted us to sit. What difference does it make where you sit at when all the seats were going to be filled anyway? It was sad that I was pissed off before the show had even started. This was a disgrace! Then the bathrooms was uncleaned and smelled like sh**! The women bathroom had vomit on the floor that I stepped in as I entered the stall! What type of business has vomit on the floor when the place first opens! Really......!!!! Once I finally got calm, another waitress came and said that we could not sit at the table unless we order something, otherwise we had to pay $10 each! Why in the HELL would I pay $15 to get in plus and additional $10 to sit down, plus another $10 for parking!! This is why I find it hard to support BLACK owned business with this type of greedy mentality! Its supposed to be fun and not feeling like you are being robbed by your own kind!! Save your money and go to the Phillips Arena where you can see a REAL show with clean bathrooms, better atmosphere, and feel safe at the same time. This was my first and last time going to this HELL hole!!!

The service is absolutely HIDEOUS!!!!! Well, for starters, each time I wait like 1.5 hrs to get anything and one time I got my check before I even got my food!! They are extremely slow with service and fast when it comes to closing your tab. I went last night and I couldn't even focus on the comedian because I was concerned about where my order was. When the waitress brought my items, the wings were the size of my pinky toe...I am a big tipper everywhere I go and need-less-to-say I did NOT tip. Horrible service!!!!

Funniest part of Paul Mooney stand up was when white guy stood up and ask where are all the white jokes. LOL!!! Oooh yeah that was me! The little punk who told me to sit down. I want to lay my hands on you BOY! Your MASTA Speaken! Pay VIP and get absolutely nothing. Service sucks and if going to see Paul Mooney. He forgot all his own jokes and will sit on stage and talk to the ladies in front of him. Hilarious!!! He is an icon. Love and Respect the man but ,Damn!!!! if needs 30 bucks Ill gladly give it to him and go waste time elsewhere

Regardless of the rules, I really enjoyed myself at the establishment. For 25 dollars some drink and food, plus my favorite comedian Michael Blackston and dc young fly uptown comedy did that damn thang.

The comedians are funny but, if you do not valet park your car will get broking into. It was mines and five others cars that got our windows busted out and money stolen. The robbers know what time the show starts and end so they have a enough time to break into your car the surrounding area is ghetto. Otherwise its a nice place.

I've been 10 or more times only one dull performance. Good drinks good food to drink on. I've always got to meet the performer after and its nice to interact with them after big names and small.
