It's publication day for LIFE ON SURTSEY, my sixth book for young readers. I shared a little backstory on the Nerdy Book Club blog this morning (linked here), and a little more in an interview with School Library Journal (see link in comments). As you'll read, it's been quite a ride ... and I'm thrilled to finally share it with the world!

I'm getting truly excited about nErDcamp Northern New England and the night-before Nerdy Night with Authors festivities. If you live or work near Freeport, Maine, I hope you'll stop in and say hello on September 22. The room will be chockablock with New England authors, children's lit lovers of all ages, and BOOKS! Details in the flyer below. Please feel free to share!
