Had a great time. The food was magnificent, service was great, with a very nice atmosphere inside. It's relatively affordable compared to similar places in the area as well!

Penne Con Pollo was decent, not the most flavorful dish here. My wife tried the Spaghetti Alle Vongoleand and she liked it. Server a bit slow and not much attention given to the table. This is a busy place and on a day after Christmas maybe understaffed. I am landing with a 4 stars and the decision was based on the decent price and good location, ambiance, and quality. $50 for two person lunch, 1 app 2 entree and 1 beer.

Incredibly nice staff and not frazzled at all despite being perfectly busy. No wait time. They were very helpful with our party, including our 1 yr old with a stroller. And the food!! It was amazing as well, get the pantanzella salad! Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Went here for the first time a few nights ago with my girlfriend for our date night. Papa Razzi was exceptional. We walked in, were greeted very nicely and were seated immediately. Our server visited our table many times and within 5-10 minutes max of us ordering our food it was on our table. We got the Saturday special and it was delicious. 5/5 Would recommend.

The smoke salmon are awesome! Had brunch with my friends on one Saturday morning, and it was awesome. The only problem would be finding parking spot, because the parking lot right next to it was full while we get there.

Any brunch that includes a bellini is alright by me. Add in baskets of warm blueberry bread, and I'm likely to stay here all day! Brunch starts at 11 AM, so we made a reservation (and would have made it for earlier if possible - we're hungry people!) although it was nearly empty when we arrived on Sunday morning. The space is large - two levels as well as an outdoor patio with heat lamps - and easily accommodated our group of 10. All brunch entrees include a mimosa or bellini, you say? Well then we're not even looking at the regular menu. The warm baskets of blueberry bread were a sweet start to the meal, and the servers offered to refill them when they disappeared within minutes - yes, please! The chicken hash with poached eggs and an English muffin was a creative, flavorful take. A pretty delish dish! Someone who ordered the french toast accidentally was served the frittata, which held up our meal since we had to wait for the correct dish to be prepared and brought out to him. The server was apologetic and said the chef would cook and serve the french toast himself. We all hungrily stared at our plates of food as we waited, but when it arrived all was forgiven - it looked beautiful and the chef also apologized and wished us all bon appetite. We dig in! My brunch-craving co-patriots all enjoyed their dishes except for the smoked salmon, which seemed to be lacking a bit of sustenance since it was just the salmon, onions, capers, and two small triangles of crostini. When she asked for something else like a bagel/toast and cream cheese, the waitress said they unfortunately don't have bagels, but she was able to locate a side of cream cheese for her (which my friend then spread on part of an English muffin provided by someone else at our table). Once these details were sorted out, she was more satisfied with her meal. So here's the brunch buzz: this is one of the best options on Newbury. You get blueberry bread, a bellini, and a solid breakfast with your brunchin' bucks. Bam!

I honestly feel a bit like I'm playing devils advocate but I wouldn't describe my experience at Papa-Razzi to be five star quality. Was it god awful? Absolutely not, but it wasn't the sort of thing that left me with a culinary epiphany either. Everything was just good. Not fantastic, not amazing, just good. Here is what I do remember for my time eating there. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. My friend and I walked inside and were seated right away on the upper level. The waiter we had was handsome and charming; not a bad way to start the night. But I simply can't give a restaurant five stars for great service. The food has to carry some weight as well. And you know what? I couldn't remember what I ate until I looked at the menu again. What does that say about the food? In fact, I remember what my friend had far better than what I ate. she had a penne and pomadoro dish that just didn't really do much for me. It was just decent in my opinion. I guess I'm being harsh on this place because I feel like this place is not as good as they hype makes it sound. When compared to one of my favorite Italian restaurants, L'Impasto, a scratch kitchen which can't seat more than twenty five people, Papa-Razzi just isn't that good. I guess a second visit might be necessary but this place will certainly never be my first suggestion for Italian. Sorry
