Writing for Bliss by +Diana Raab is by far one of the most amazing self-help books I have read in a long time says +Nerdy Book Life.

I can definitely say I am so thankful I came across this book. It has given me exactly what I needed to find my hope back through writing. Not only does it help you learn the writing process, but it will also help with self-discovery and that no matter what you will never be alone. It will teach you patience and give you a way to find a journey through your words. Diana has such an easy way of writing and a beautiful way of putting words into hope. This was by far one of the most amazing self-help books I have read in a long time.

This was by far one of the most amazing self-help books I have read in a long time. The writing prompts helped me with things I thought I was completely done struggling with. Now, I can pick up writing where I have left of in my books I started because I have all the tools I need to get my writing done. It’s also the best piece of therapy I will proudly keep on my Kindle.

You definitely need to add this book to your collection, especially if you have ever found that writing is the best form of therapy for whatever you’re going through.

The twists and turns kept me guessing all the way through the final words says Lynchburg Mama by Shelly Maynard about IN Control by +John Mefford.

Knowing that this is the next to final book in the Ivy Nash thriller series, I was quite sad when I started reading. Thankfully, John has a way of gripping you tightly and pulling you down deep into a story that you can’t stop reading. The intensity builds with the turn of each page. Ivy gets deeper into an investigation than she’s ever been before. She is on the verge of getting too far down that she’ll never be able to be “IN Control” again! I thought I was getting close on closing my conclusions during this story; however, the twists and turns kept me guessing all the way through the final words. The fake kidnappings and drug ring investigation end up being twisted together and I lost my way in the thriller trying to put the mystery pieces together.

I’m not looking forward to the series ending; however, I am anxiously awaiting the finale that Mefford has planned for Ivy — I know it’s going to be HUGE!

The Real Thing by +Melissa Foster is a steamy story that was fun to read says First Time Mommy Adventures.

This book was a great start to the Sugar Lake series. Zane and Willow have been friends for a long time but taking it farther (real or fake) has brought them closer.

Zane and Willow's brother are friends and that is how they got to know each other so well. Zane needs to change himself for the public eye and Willow is there to help out.

The couple is great together except that Zane is a tad bit complicated and Willow does not make anything easier. They get fake engaged to help Zane look better for his career.

This steamy story was fun to read and I can't wait for the next one.

Books, Crafts & Pretty Things calls Writing for Bliss by +Diana Raab a 'powerful guide for advice'.

I wrote all the time as a child. I wrote poetry and journal entries, short stories, even songs. I wrote all through my teenage years and while I was pregnant, and then when I had my second child I stopped. I was very busy and I somehow didn’t have time for reading and writing and life became very difficult.

Later, when I began home schooling, I found more time for reading again. In the early hours of the morning when other mums were busy with the school rush, I had a few moments to myself and life got a little easier. But it was only when I started writing again, journaling again and even blogging, that things turned around and I began to really get myself together. But now I am stuck in a kind of rut, with lots of ideas and many unfinished manuscripts. I’m finding it hard to prioritise writing when I have work, study, family duties and (let’s face it) the distracting Internet.

The book “Writing for Bliss” was just the book I needed to shake things up a bit. Whether you have never written before, are a sometimes writer, or you just feel stuck like me, then this book can help.

Partly autobiographical and partly self-help this book provides lots of advice:

I like to mention what Zen master Shunryu Suziki referred to in his book, Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind (1976), as maintaining the sensibility of the “beginner’s mind.” The idea is that the beginner’s mind tends to be open to many possibilities, unlike the expert’s mind, which only sees few.

It also provides practical tips such as:

One rule about writing is that if you want to be a writer, you need to be a reader.

Writers need privacy and solitude to tap into their creative selves.

And writing prompts, to get you started:

Writing Prompt 2:7 – Exploring a Vivid Dream
On another occasion, recall a vivid dream. Describe in detail the images in it. Note the feelings you associate with the dream. What does the dream remind you of in your present or past circumstances?

Using a combination of psychology and creative writing techniques, Diana Raab leads the reader through a journey of therapeutic artistic pursuit. This is the perfect companion to the Art Therapy I have been doing, because it uses similar principles, but encourages my need to create using words.

There is so much great advice about visualization and getting past those creative blocks. Sometimes there are things in our life that are difficult to write about, but you know Raab has been there, and can help guide you through. Furthermore, it is backed by Raab’s own research into the transformative power of writing one’s memoirs.

As I begin to get unstuck using these ideas, I know as I continue my manuscripts that I will return again and again to this powerful guide for advice. It also includes a handy Index and Bibliography.

A Gluten Free Mom was enthralled throughout The Real Thing by +Melissa Foster.

Some might say that high school hook-ups never last. People change, move away, return home, but can they rekindle a romance that is years dead? Maybe. At least on the surface. Zane and Willow have always been friends. Friends that have always been there for each other, at least in an “I’ll text you right back” kind of way. But distance has kept them from becoming closer, or has it?

Zane is an actor that needs to clean up his act. Willow is a baker that wants to get some good exposure for her bakery. Is that enough for them to go through with a fake engagement? I know that I was enthralled throughout the entire story. I fell hard for Willow and Zane’s story, each twist and turn made me root more and more for Zane. You’ll have to grab your own copy though if you want to find out if they make it or not.

Lottery in Paradise by Deborah Brown - Paradise Series is full of suspense, funny and will make you fall in-love all over again says

Friendship and relationship will collides.

My mind is blowing as always while reading the Paradise Series. I loved this series so much. It is so addicting. I love the friendship, relationship and the chaos that involved with their jobs.

While I was reading Lottery In Paradise, hurricane also happened. One of the affected areas is from the Key West. I can picture what am reading by looking at the path that Hurricane Irma hit Florida. All I can think is, hope Madison, Fab and their families were fine.

I loved how the story end. I am a fan of Madison and Creole. I am so excited for these two. I can imagine the name of the next book.

Both of these girls will always and ready to sacrifice their lives in the name of their friendship. They are sisters from different mothers. I adore their friendship and the craziness that involves around these two.

This book is hard to put it down. It is suspense, funny and will make you fall in-love all over again. It is a must read if you want to laugh out loud at the same time will make your heart beats so fast. The entire series is such a fun read.
