Artists & Fleas is a weekly weekend market in the heart of Williamsburg Brooklyn where over 100 independent merchants set up, showcase and sell art, design, fashion, food and vintage clothing and houesewares. First established in 2003, Artists & Fleas has cultivated an international reputation amongst buyers, trend-spotters and creative entrepreneurs as a place to showcase and discover what's new and exciting in fashion, vintage, art, design, handmade local goods and more.

Artists & Fleas moved to North 7th Street in the Fall of 2010, expanding and evolving in sync with a neighborhood that exploded over the past decade. The market is situated just a few blocks from the shops, bars and restaurants of bustling Bedford Avenue and the L train and steps from the Williamsburg waterfront, which hosts Smorgasburg and the Brooklyn Flea, every weekend through November.

The vintage stalls in here are really great! Some amazing pieces, I only wished my budget would stretch to. Super-friendly stall owners and everyone was so lovely and chatty - definitely worth a trip and just nice to buy cool stuff made by local artists.

This place is awesome! Came here when I first moved to the city and I found some great stuff to furnish my apartment. So many talented vendors. Unfortunately I can't remember anyone's name but just to give an idea of the things you can find; one vendor specialized in custom clocks and speakers made out of old books. I bought a pair of speakers from him and it really motivated me to get back into my art. Another vendor took street maps of the city and would screen print unique scenes from certain parts of the city on them graffiti style. Very cool. Also found some unique hipster glasses which really made me feel like I was in Williamsburg. I love coming here every now and then to see new vendors and what they have to offer.

Mix bag of vendors. Some of the vintage clothes feel like you've seen them before at other shops and have a price to match. The reason to visit are the artists and craftsmakers. From upcycled children's books and antiques and games made into clocks, jewelry or notebooks to the very cute screenprinted tees and paintings of all sizes the friendliness of the vendors match their talent.

An Aladdin's cave of curiosities, with dozens of artists creating and selling their works. I particularly liked the old books turned into clocks, and the superhero T shirts with logos cut from sheets!

A great market which is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. A mixed bag of vendors and colourful characters with stalls ranging from vintage garments, handcrafted jewellery and screen printed T shirts. If you want to find something a little different or just seeking a bit of inspiration its a must.

All of the vendors were incredibly friendly and had an amazing array of quality items. Everyone should drop in at least once, I promise you'll find at least one perfect item for their home/selves.

Wonderful eclectic mix of artists and vendors. Lots of fun clothing - new and vintage and unique jewelry. They also have had a fair amount of food vendors as of late, along with a trusty coffee supplier.

Definitely fun and funky. Seems geared mostly toward women, but occasionally there's the vintage tie seller, etc., for dudes. Food vendors tend to the locally-sourced, and if that sandwich you order sounds cheap it's because it's very, verrrry small.
