My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The valet parking attendants were very courteous when we arrived. During check in, the attendant asked us what brought us to San Diego and after we said our anniversary, she sent delicious lavender lemonade to our room to celebrate. The hotel was very cozy and clean; it maintains its historic hotel charm, but is also very modern and classy. We had dinner at Currant--great service and food there as well. I also received the free yoga DVD for checking in on yelp. We absolutely loved everything about our stay here. I highly recommend it.

Room is bigger and nicer than Fairfield Marriott hotel. Free fast and reliable internet. No free breakfast. Just coffee, tea and muffins. Pet friendly hotel.

The rooms were really clean and I loved that the assortment of snacks and soft drinks at the minibar weer complimentary! The bed was really comfy and the desk area was super convenient, even has a built in, hideaway take table top outlet for charging phones or laptops while working. The shower was amazing too. The serve complimentary coffee, tea and snacks in the lobby all day, as well as a complimentary wine harpy hour after 5. The Andaz Wall Street was an amazing hotel and I'd love to stay there again.

This is a late review, but my wife booked a bay view room for our 6 year anniversary. That was last year and I still remember the room, the views, the hospitality, the modern & sophisticated decor, and the location. Nothing beats staying on the Embroiderer! I absolutely love this hotel and can't wait to stay here again!

Got this as part of a special package, otherwise we probably wouldn't have stayed in financial district. Location not ideal for most tourist things perhaps but 5 mins walk to Metro and 10 mins walk to World trade centre and Statue of liberty boat mean there's nothing wrong with it. They seem to be trying to blend high end look with casual feel, there's no reception desk as such, just an island with staff hanging around in jacket and jeans, who were all polite and helpful. The lobby has free 24 hour coffee, tea and cookies which is a nice touch except when you get to your room and find there's no hot drink facilities. So plenty of evening trips down in the lift. The complimentary soft drinks and snacks in room were much appreciated though. The other surprising omission from our room was a hair dryer, not good for 3 young ladies. Perhaps these things don't bother their target clientele. A great stay only slightly marred by what wasn't in our room

We came to Manhattan for a wedding on a beautiful weekend. Luckily it was the weekend, so the Business district wasn't crazy busy. We reserved the King Deluxe room, and it was clean, beautiful & spacious. There was lots of wall storage, even though there was 2 drawers. The bed was firm and the pillows soft. The staff very courteous. I would stay in this hotel again, and I recommend it.

Okay, let me begin by saying that I only stay at Westin Hotels or resorts, so I am complete hotel snob. When I stay at other hotels I have extremely high expectations and I have to say that this hotel completely exceeded all of them. From the moment I entered I was greeted with champagne and the staff was so friendly and service oriented and I was blown away. I booked this hotel for my boyfriend and I as a valentine's day get away and Raymond (the concierge that checked me in ) was so kind and even sent up a complimentary bottle of excellent wine! The hotel and the room itself was beautiful! I booked this hotel through expedia, and I was put on the top floor in the large king bedroom and it was amazing for an amazing price! The mini bar, which was stocked daily, was free to take from and so were the snacks that were given to the room. The bathroom was beautifully large with a shower that can fit 6 people and a tub that can fit 4 people and it made it pleasantly romantic for us. It was not even a block from public transportation so traveling to and from in one of the coldest winters NYC has seen in years was not even as close to miserable as I thought it would be! I absolutely loved this hotel, I would recommend it to any one who is looking for a 5 star hotel at the cost of staying at a 3 star hotel. This hotel is truly a hidden gem!
