Syrian-born Wassef Haroun and his wife Racha Barazi Haroun are shaking things up in Seattle. The couple started out in the food industry because their culture was either misunderstood, under- or badly-represented in America. Now, they own two successful restaurants, both of which are obligatory dining during one's visit to Seattle. When reflecting on current events and the future of their business, the couple shares an important message for their fellow Americans. Check out what they have to say and stop by their newest rooftop restaurant, Mbar, for mouthwatering food and stunning views of all Seattle. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/richard-bangs/when-is-a-restaurant-more_b_14561426.html

Climate change is one of the many topics of debate nowadays. Preserving the natural beauty of the world is an issue I feel strongly about. If science can’t save our earth, perhaps poetry can. Woke up this morning to find my quote alongside many greats such as Jacques Cousteau, Margaret Atwood, Herman Hesse, and Rachel Carson. All of the quotes share a common theme: Water is Life.
