No. Contador is NOT the greatest. With the benefit of lighter bikes, better understanding of training, he lacks the number of wins and he lacks the integrity. Most of those challenging him for the overall of this Giro are dopers too.

I love GCN, it is one of the best things on the internet. I love all things bikes and ride as much as I can. I love watching pro racing but I just ride. I don't know what my FTP is and don't care. I do geek out on bike mechanics, Thank you for these videos that show me things that I might not already know. This is what makes GCN great, there is something for everyone.
I added this video to my list of all-time favorites
I have commuted to work by bike for years. I have ridden the fast road bike the whole distance on main roads, taken the MUP and also done the bike/train or bike/bus combo. I live in a hilly area in the southern U.S. and my commute is 20 miles one way or 32 kilometers. It can get quite hot, humidity is a factor as is rain most of the year. To ride the whole distance, either on the fast bike via main roads or relaxed bike on MUP, I need to be able to shower when I get in. For me the bike / train combo works best.
I have been hit by a car while riding three times. The first time was before bike helmets and I was riding on the sidewalk. The other two times I was in a bike lane. In each instance I was injured and one of those times my steel bike was busted. In each instance my head was the only body part not injured or hit. Better drivers ed and respect will go much further to preventing injuries than a plastic hat.
