Black Women’s Hair: The Public’s Touching Fascination Continues
It’s a common tale shared by women of color whose natural hair can attract stares, curiosity, comments and the occasional stranger who desires to reach out and touch.
'WHY DO WHITE PEOPLE ALWAYS WANT TO TOUCH A BLACK WOMAN'S HAIR"?

The Queen is the most powerful piece in the game.

While the Queen can bring destruction to an enemy position, she is also to be protected. the Queen is powerful, but in crowded positions, she can be assaulted and even trapped by the lesser.

You must use caution and do not abuse the power of the Queen by moving her within the first 4-5 moves. Strategize with her.

The Queen's power is clearly realized in open positions,However quick checkmates rarely work and will leave your Queen dangerously exposed.

So be careful with Your Queen!

The vote is in,  expressed by the "Elder Council"; there is no conscious community.  Consciousness is not in Words, not expressed by what Afrocentric clothing you wear,

Consciousness is fuel by Action and backed by Dollars. It is a actionable stance, formed by the conjunction or collection of particulars into a whole mass or sum. it is not just awareness and understanding of one's own needs, behavior, attitudes, etc., especially as a member of a particular social or political group. But advances the agenda with a concrete plan that has a beginning a middle and an end, that will Empower the Entirety.

“University president Neil D. Theobald confirmed that it was Asante who asked Soufas to kick Monteiro off the faculty.”
Get Story:http://bit.ly/1dhq0eO

I am deeply sadden by this new. I have held Dr Asante in the highest esteem, I have respected him and his research.  Over the course of several years I had begun to here stories about misrepresentation in some area of his research and  scholarly integrity.

With this incidence unfolding as it has, it simply speaks about his integrity and character.  Shame on you Dr Asante.......It's not in what you say but what you do.

John Henrik Clarke: Historian, Scholar, and Teacher
In 1986, the Africana Library was named in honor of John Henrik Clarke, who was widely recognized as a pioneer in the field of Africana Studies. Dr. Clarke played an important role in the early history of Cornell University's Africana Studies & Research Center.

Dr. Clarke was most known and highly regarded for his lifelong devotion to studying and documenting the histories and contributions of African peoples in Africa and the diaspora.

Dr. Clarke is often quoted as stating that "History is not everything, but it is a starting point. History is a clock that people use to tell their political and cultural time of day. It is a compass they use to find themselves on the map of human geography. It tells them where they are, but more importantly, what they must be."
