The year 1998 heralded the birth of the business, while Kobus still farmed at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains.  He envisioned the possibility of developing the Swartberg Pass and surrounding areas asa tourist attraction.

South African Culture Tour:
 
This is a unique experience and our guests are raving about this one.
We depart from Oudtshoorn at 09 h 00
After a coffee stop at De Rust we visit a home in De Rust build of hay bales.We also have the opportunity of riding with a donkey chart in De Rust and to interact with the locals
We visit the stunning waterfall in Meiringspoort and after swimming or relaxing at the pool we proceed to Prince Albert, gem of the Groot Karroo.The piece and tranquillity of this little town at the foot of the Swartberg will amuse you. We enjoy a light lunch at the authentic Swartberg Hotel.
The majestic Swartberg Pass is the highlight of this route before we arrive at "Kobus se Gat" for a traditional South African dinner fest. Sunset at the Boma is something not to be missed.
Dancing on traditional South African music is optional for those who are in the mood for it. Have you ever been so close to the stars?? We've been having it!!

The Circle tour:
This tour departs at 08H30 Oudtshoorn via De Rust, Meiringspoort, Great Karoo, Prince Albert and the Swartberg Pass back to Oudtshoorn. Enjoy the exciting transition in vegetation, climate, and farming methods of the Little and Great Karoo. Stunning views all along the road. Swartberg Tour:
Departs from the "lapa"- open air eating venue -at the foot of the Swartberg mountain to a viewpoint at the Prince Albert side of the mountain.
Duration:  2 hours
