“I wish Iraq and Afghanistan the best as countries, but I do not give them the power to determine how I feel about my service to the United States of America. Nor do I think it’s wise for any other combat veteran to do so.”

Couldn't have said it better myself

As a Star Wars fan I LOATHE the whole concept of "May the 4th". Its not witty, its not funny and its completely played out. Can we just stop? Seriously.

inb4 Revenge of the 5th is just as bad, if not worse.

New Damage Control with this week's guest cohost +Foots Kay from The Red Show on +MoreLikeRadio It was phenomenally fun. Discussed what we have going for ourselves and then a couple military topics. Ending with 10 more things you can do in your life to make it a little better. http://damagecontrol.radiofubar.com/?p=50 #RedAlert

Im so glad my son got a chance to visit the Memorial so he can understand what the Nation went through when he was too young to understand. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/05/15/those-lost-live-on-in-us-obama-says-at-11-memorial-museum-dedication/
President Barack Obama marked the opening of the 9/11 museum in New York City Thursday by recounting acts of heroism that day and the future generations that will benefit by learning about the lives of those lost during the terror attack.

Went home for Thanksgiving and decided to stay here because of its central location to everything in the area. Was met at the check in counter and the gentleman at the desk gave me an automatic upgrade and much nicer room as he saw I was traveling on military ID. Room was very nice (single King bed), but could do with some revamping of the A/C system (old-ish). The pool was very nice, but got crowded immediately with kids who were never raised correctly to function in the "city". While the inside of the hotel looks like a small city, any sound made from lobby to elevator will reverberate through the entire complex. This is particularly bad when drunks come back at 2-3 am. I stayed on the 5th floor...I could hear you :-|

Drove from NJ to Indiana and stayed overnight and could NOT be happier with our choice. It was quiet, quaint and very romantic. The restaurant was awesome and well priced. I would love to visit in the summer.

Driven past many times and finally my GF wanted to try it. At first it looked like a place that you should only order pick up and my point was proven. Hot and unassuming with rickety linoleum tables, I was apprehensive to dine-in. I ordered the skirt steak which I thought was WAYYY too expensive at $20 and my chick ordered the chicken/ribs combo $14. They allowed us to bring in our own adult beverages from the liquor store right next door. As soon as the first bite hit my taste buds I immediately shut the hell up about the lack of ambience. This food was SO good. I got veggies and black beans as a side. The cabbage was slightly sweet from the carrots, but was a perfect side. I would not recommend this as a date night place to eat, but definitely a delivery/pick up place.
