Always thought that the person or persons that could be be that accurate at throwing snowballs from the stands would have a great future as an N.F.L. qb(LOL).

Never knew the N.F.L. had a player with the #0, saw some #00(Really "100" but of course, no room on a jersey for the three digits), but never knew there was #0 worn by any N.F.L./Professional football player.

Robert Delpino was very under-rated(IMO).

+Jeffrey T. Steptoe I couldn't agree more. He was a very good complementary back.

This was kind of odd because the Falcons over-took the Rams after the Rams had "Ruled" the division for something like 6-7 odd seasons and everyone thought that the Falcons would dominate the division for years to come, little could anyone foresee that the Niners would be the next "Great" team in that division and dominate for almost 20 years(WOW)!!!

Actually the 1980 game  between these two teams was played in Anaheim("Los Angeles" for intents and purposes). The last time the Rams had met the Jets at Shea, was way back in 1974.

Sure he was flashy and fast, but to be truly "Great", you have to be a "Team-player" which he was not. His constant "Rantings" against team management(He had disputes with the Colts, not just the Rams) he also tended to fumble at inopportune times like in the play-offs. I'd have to say the #1 is either Walter Payton or Jim Brown(IMHO).

+Jeffrey T. Steptoe Thx for the response. Most would agree with you regarding Payton or Brown.  in the Video, I did include Eric as a discontent by the announcer & even Jackie Slater, the RT.  it surrounding $$$ and with no free agency, no franchise tags and being the best RB in the NFL and being paid like he was average, he had issues. Dickerson was the TEAM, that was the problem, and they ran him into the ground while the Rams trash QB's made more coin. a RB had an average 3 yr lifespan,so  I can understand the frustrations but don't condone his behavior. Today it's a passing league. The 80's burned out RB's.

Wonder why the Saints in the day wore their white jerseys at home, possibly the humidity of the south?

To the person who asked "Where did all go wrong for the Rams", believe it was because Greg Bell signed the next season with the Raiders. He was under-rated, I believe, in the Rams' offensive game plans, it was a perfect compliment with the passing game with Everett, Ellard and Anderson. Another thing, Everett seemed to have a penchant for making mistakes at key times in ball games. Great arm, but prone to making game-killing mistakes, as with his interception vs. the Raiders in '91 when the Rams led by a TD, and he threw the interception which was made by Ronnie Lott, then the Raiders tied the game, then beat the Rams in O.T..

Was not aware that Madden did games with anyone other than Mr. Summerall???!!! BTW always enjoyed Bender, thought he was a very under-rated announcer.

BTW, to all those that said the Rams were so "Bad", how come they made the play-offs twice after they had traded Dickerson(One year, they won to road play-off games back east(Philly and N.Y.in December-January)).

+Jeffrey T. Steptoe In '86, Dickerson played behind QB's a ROOKIE Jim Everett 3-2, Steve Dils 3-2 & Steve Bartkowski 4-2. ALL 3 QB's, ALL, completed LESS than 50% of their pass attempts. Less than 50%. In the playoff game, Dickerson ran for 160 yds vs the Skins but Everett completed 9 passes & 2 picks. @1986  Dickerson played with Garbage but by Everett's 3rd & 4th  seasons, he could play some ball. Unfortunately, Eric never got to play with  even very good QB. Thanks for responding.
