Made of chocolate dreams, Jacques Torres is a perfect afternoon break. They do a mean "iced hot chocolate" (share this with a friend because it's rich and deadly for one). Excellent chocolate chip cookies. Ice cream is fine but not amazing, though eating it on the bench outside is a delight in the summer.

Walking inside is such a feast for the senses because of all the yummy chocolates! I can't get enough of the delicious dark chocolate bark. Plus the clerks are super nice and even encourage you to enjoy the free samples they give out.

When in DUMBO, you gotta have your snacks and this includes getting some hot chocolate to walk along the promenade with or the park and pier. Wicked is how I like it since it is spicy. Love this chocolate shop. It is always filled with happy tourists and it smells amazing. I like to bring home a box of homemade marshmallows. They taste so different from the store bought ones.

Will Always love Jacques and his wonderful style. I used to live very close to the downtown location. A nice size store with a lot to offer. I met my girlfriend/ wife to be there and we used to go in all the time. My favorite chocolatier in terms of style and service. Nice display and fresh taste. Love their dark assorted chocolates and bars. The girls working answer customers' questions with patience, which is very helpful because there are so many varieties to choose from. Now we moved to Brooklyn so not so often but will always love the place

The smell of this place is amazing! I'm surprised they haven't started charging just for that. The truffles are all good, from the ones filled with peanut butter to the more exotic ones they do like their champagne truffles. I've never had a bad one here. Even their white chocolate is good, and I'm not much of a fan of white chocolate. The big cookies they sell are good, and in the summertime they do ice cream sandwiches which are delicious and very filling. Their homemade ice cream sandwiched between two of their cookies. Stop reading this review and get over there!

Come hungry if you're coming here. Everything in here is made with pure chocolate, which is very rich and very filling. The truffles, cookies, and brownies are delicious. The hot chocolate is amazing, and perfect for this time of year. It's very rich and heavy, so a small size will go a long way. My two favorite ways to have the hot chocolate is with peanut butter or with their wicked hot chocolate (Mexican spice is oh so nice).

The smell of this place is amazing and there is an overwhelming amount of chocolate. My main issues here are with the hot chocolate. I appreciate that it's not overly sweet, however, it's usually super pudding like which makes it hard to drink and one time it tasted so bitter that they apparently forgot to add any sugar at all.
