Went to Biltmore house then wanted mexican food to eat after...we tryed the cantina in Biltmore Village area and LOVED IT! Best Mexican i've had in a while!! It took us a minute to find it, but i'm GLAD WE DID! There caso dip is the best ive ever had! I wish we had this place in Virginia! We took some to-go as we left town!

We dined at Neo both times that we visited Asheville & look forward to our next chance to enjoy the wonderful food & atmosphere & ... Margaritas!!! Great place. Recently, I also had the pleasure of speaking with the owner on the phone... she was delightful & very helpful.

Cool TX roadhouse decor. Service was excellent and a very solid Tex-Mex menu. Food was solid but not exceptional. I'd eat there again.

The rest of the story - we were in town for 4 days for a family reunion. Wandered into The Cantina as we were checking out Biltmore Village the first day. Ended up eating there 3 times, all different menu items. Not typical Mexican. Choice of two delicious side dishes. The pickled kale was excellent the first meal. A bit inconsistent the 2nd and 3rd times, but nary a leaf wasted. The staff was very friendly. Even pointed out that for our group the tip was already included on the tab. And, my favorite, was our wonder waitress on the 3rd meal who I asked to take photo's of us around the table as we talked and ate. She went out of her way to take great and memorable photos. Recommended.

Neo Cantina is an excellent place to take family and friends for great service and atmosphere. La Paz seem to go out of business in the middle of the night and the owners of Neo Cantina did well picking up pieces. With a brand new menu and new management, the dynamic of this location has changed for the better. I personally enjoy the fish tacos during lunch. Great bar with local beer on tap! Chips and salsa are served as soon as you sit down. Glad to see Neo Cantina takeover and they seem to get better and better!
