Wow; having read the sub-3-star reviews, I felt obligated to post something positive about their dim sum. This place is THE best spot in Flushing-- hands down. Excellent selection, mostly contemporary Hong Kong style with plenty of old-school classics (various tripe and innards-based treats). Their sweets alone are amazing and cover the entire spectrum of fried, baked, steamed and chilled. Ingredients and execution are both relatively high; so nearly everything tastes as good as it looks. Plus, the venue is enormous and centrally located-- much easier to manage logistically with big groups as anyone who lives here knows; Flushing is a veritable zoo on the weekends. The evening restaurant fare is above average at best in terms of quality vs. price. But if you are looking for solid dim sum, this is the current stand-by. * Dim sum is an entirely different format for brunch; expect crowds, the occasional "bad spot" of a table, and not every dish will be available every time you go. But I have hosted an event there and do agree that they have a decent booking process but are weak on execution relative to other places in Flushing. Unpolished is my nice way of summarizing it...
