Couldn't sleep. Working at the art and wine festival tomorrow between 10-12. Starting thinking about our great city and got lost in the interwebs.
Enjoy :)

Went for a stroll through Leonardville this morning with Woody Minor's book "A Home in Alameda". I believe in happy accidents and was lucky enough to meet Jim Smallman who was working on his home, the owner of 1833 and 1837 Clinton ave. He was kind enough to give me a tour and also let me around walk freely to take pictures.

This is just one block of Leonardville which consist of about 6 blocks, Union, Lafayette, Chestnut St and San Antonio, San Jose and Clinton Ave.. The are 48 Joseph A. Leonard Victorian Mansions that stand today for you to view.
This is Part I of my walking series for Leonardivlle and will go through it street by street photographing the houses, build dates, cost and any interesting articles I can find about them.
