Loved this place. Great service, fancy decor and good food however I deduct a star because my filet came well done, I asked for medium rare. Try the ahi-tuna

I came back a second time for dinner and can still attest that Roy's is four stars. The restaurant mixes classic techniques with Pacific flavors. From start to finish, I enjoyed a very nice meal in the heart of Baltimore. We started off with misoyaki butterfish lettuce wraps in a vinaigrette sauce, shallots, and cucumbers. The butterfish was delicately flavored. I ordered seared sea scallops in a potato purée with pork belly, fennel, apple, and honey coriander glaze. The scallops were perfectly seared, the pork belly was good, and in the honey coriander glaze and potato purée, the entree was fantastic and well-executed. Of course, my favorite - the chocolate soufflé. We knew we wanted that as soon as we sat down, so we ordered it while ordering our appetizers. Therefore, once we finished our entrees, the chocolate soufflé came right out. A classic melting hot chocolate souffé dusted in powdered sugar, served with a delicious raspberry sauce, with a side of vanilla ice cream. The hot chocolate center oozed magically into the raspberry sauce, making it the most perfect dessert concoction. Service was top notch. Our server was attentive and friendly. No lag or wait time and our drinks were always replenished without asking. If you're looking for a more upscale dinner, definitely try out Roy's!

One of the best experiences I had while in Baltimore. Everyone there was extremely attentive and informative about the menu items. They treated us like Kings and Queens and the food was amazing. The portions are not the largest but that seems typical of places of this caliber. Pretty pricey, but well worth it, dropped $110 on an appetizer, two meals, and a couple of drinks, and I would do it all over again.

My wife and I have dined at this Roy's location for almost 13 years. In addition to celebrating nearly all of our special moments (promotions, graduations, birthdays, and wedding anniversary), we come at least once a month for a "regular" dinner. We've dined here more than 100 times and always receive excellent service and exceptionally delicious food. We particularly enjoy the special events such as the wine-pairing dinners, Christmas-time ginger bread house brunch, food challenges, and events where Roy personally attends, Our favorite dish is the Butterfish. My wife is partial to the Hawaiian Martini while I stick with my favorite 18-year old scotch. Bryson Keens, the Managing Partner, always greets us by name and treats us like family while making sure all of the other diners are having a wonderful experience. Without a doubt, this Roy's is our favorite and always on the top of our list when we are celebrating something special.

Service was great. Very nice waiter. Pleasant atmosphere. Food was not good. Only reason i have them 3 stars was due to service. Would probably not come back to this resteraunt again.

I have been to the Roy's in Baltimore twice. If you don't normally like fish, try their butterfish. My partner doesn't usually like fish and declared the dish yummy. Roy's has entries from both "from the sea" and "from the land". My partner's pork the first visit was good but unimpressive. Her steak the second time was delicious and I was hard pressed to decide between our meals for "Best meal of the night" Leave room for decadent desserts.

The food was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. It is a bit pricey, but the food is worth the high price tag.
