I have had my Chevy Volt for exactly one year and have only used 23.2 gallons of gas over 10377 miles. My fuel cost over that time (electric and gas) has been roughly the same as getting 100 mpg with gas.

Last night I attended a small party put on by GM for about a dozen Chevy Volt owners to kick off the LA Auto Show. Arguably, the most famous Volt owner showed up too, Jay Leno. His driving statistics with the Volt are impressive: 10,500 miles on electric and only 2.6 gallons of gas used. I'm at about 8,500 miles total and used about about 18 gallons of gas.

Thank you to +emma mojica for sending me a TRTL BOT Minimalist iPhone case. The back card holder slot makes this this perfect "going out" phone when you don't want to tote around a bulky wallet or purse. Just throw your ID and credit card in the back slot and you are ready to go.

Overall it has a nice feel in the hand and maintains a relatively low profile around my iPhone. The best part is that its made with recycled PET (there is apparently at least 1 recycled plastic bottle in each case) and is designed/manufactured in California (pretty rare these days). So if you are looking to go green and buy something made in the USA, TRTL BOT is a great option.
