"Lost Legions" is getting harder to find. Working on the problem. In the meantime, click on the May blog archive, and find the full data of the Venetian Phalerae following "Ben Kane's Skeptics' Corner."

Please go to purcelithia.info to see the Venetian Phalerae, or what appears to be a set of three, perfectly intact, highly significant ancient Roman military phalerae, slated for XRF testing in July at the Getty Villa under the auspices of Dr. D. A. Scott, archeological metallurgist and professor of art history at UCLA, who is also afilliated with the Getty Museum: largest repository of ancient Roman artifacts in the United States.

What we have here may be nothing less than hard evidence of the shadowy "Lost Legions" of Rome.
Ancient Roman military phalerae found in garage sale junk! Four Centuries span collection.
