Not good anymore, but still crowded last saturday. I am going to Brasa since it opened its doors, once or twice a year. The Salad Buffet has less items then it used to be. For example, Palmitos or Palm Hearts where missing. This is one of the most in a Brazilian Restaurant. The meat was much better and tender years ago. The service was just mediocre, and by the way they raised the price from $ 35.00 to 45.00 now. For a bill of $ 120.00 i expect more. For this money i can get a much better and higher value Buffet for half the price in the Casino a couple of hundred feet away.

Choices were over cooked and when asked if a cut was medium we got a shrug of the shoulders. Your meat servers should know how the meat is cooked.

We showed up for out 7:30pm reservation 5 minutes early. We walked up to the hostess desk and stood in front of the desk, with the hostess present, without so much as a "welcome" or "hello" for 2-3 minutes. When we were finally greeted it was "What is you name?" After we gave our name the hostess told us it would be a couple of minutes and we would be seated. As we waited we began to figure out that the restaurant was just beginning to seat people with 7:00pm reservations. The overcrowded bar was filled with people not waiting for cocktails, but to be seated. Eventually we were seated...an hour and 15 minutes later. The lobby was chaotic. The hostess looked helpless and the manager was randomly grabbing groups of people to seat; the closer to the hostess table you were the more likely you seemed to be the lucky chosen party. We finally were seated and looking forward to eating. The waiter greeted us and explained the process while chewing his gum like a cow chewing his grass. During dinner we asked for an additional side of fried bananas and polenta (which every table gets at the beginning of the meal). The waiter said he'd be right back with that. Twenty minutes later we saw the waiter again and asked about our order. He replied that the kitchen was still making them and they'd be right out. Another twenty minutes goes by and a different waiter asks us if we'd like anything else. We repeated our request and this waiter brings out the food in 30 seconds. When we are all set to close our bill the waiter advises me that he'll need my payment information and my cell phone (I had a groupon). I begrudgingly give the waiter my credit card and my cell phone. "There should be another way this is handled," I say to my girlfriend, "I'll bet you $5 they come back to ask me to unlock my phone." Guess what? 15 minutes later a 3rd waiter brings my phone over and says very curtly, "Is this your phone? Will you unlock it again?" and proceeds to take a picture of my groupon. No please no thank you is said. He takes my information away to be processed again. I've eaten at a lot of restaurants and have left positive feedback at 99% of those establishments even if I'm not fully pleased. This experience is one I'll never forget and is one that will keep me from ever returning to this restaurant.

Large selection of meats, so was very tough and tasteless. Salad bar has both hot and cold dishes, but it's always empty. Very busy.

We made reservations a few days in advance for 6:30 on a Saturday. We showed up on time and were promptly seated. The server explained how things worked and sent us to the salad bar. The salad bar wasn't that exciting. It had standard salad fixings, pasta salad, broccoli salad, etc. and seafood. The best part were the meats that the servers brought around and cut fresh right at the table. I think we had about 12 different meats. We hardly ever had to wait for servers to come around with more meat! They even asked if we had any special requests on what type of meat we wanted. And once, a server came over to us specifically because he said he had a new meat that he knew we hadn't tried yet. The server did forget to bring me my second drink, but I wasn't charged for it. So, overall I thought the service and atmosphere and food were great! It was very busy when we were leaving there, so I think the best service is early in the evening. We would definitely come again!

This is NOT a review on the food, just about the service. We made reservations and planned weeks in advance to have a babysitter and make the trek downtown, then when we got to the restaurant, we were told that because it was a state holiday (I'm from out of state and hadn't heard of it) they couldn't accept the Groupon. We tried to explain and work it out, but eventually just left. I still plan to give it another shot (I miss good rodizio), but their system is too rigid if they are willing to turn away customers on a slow night because the computer won't let them use a Groupon. There are ways to make it work. Clearly I should check the calendar for state holidays I don't know about, but I would have hoped they would do more to accommodate the understanding. Everyone was kind and apologetic, but the organization leaves something to be desired.
