Gary Fingerhut, former executive director of the Cleveland Clinic's innovation and business development unit, the hospital's commercialization arm, has been charged in a defrauding scheme that allegedly cost the Clinic more than $2.7 million, according to federal charges filed in a bill of information on Wednesday, Sept. 13, in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
