A change in essence and form is required. The overcoming of painting, sculpture, poetry and music is required. […] By invoking this change in the nature of man, […] we abandon the practice of known art forms, we approach the development of an art based on…

I'm proud to announce my essay on the Dutch artist Evi Vingerling, who will show soon in my group exhibition "Beyond the Painting" at SEA Foundation.

I'm delight to introduce on my blog the amazing art and works of Gillian Lawler.

All around [St. Ignatius Church in Centralia], smoke was hovering wispily off the ground, and just behind it, great volumes of smoke were billowing from the earth over a large area. I walked over and found myself on the lip of a vast cauldron, perhaps an…

Impressed by the vastness of nature, I tried to express the extension, the quiet and the unity.[…] Vertical and horizontal lines are the expression of two opposing forces; these exist everywhere and dominate everything; their mutual action constitutes the…

I want to thank SEA Foundation Tilburg for a solid mentoring, pleasant time shared with Riet Van Gerven, Jan-Willem van Rijnberk, amazing artists as Janet Chan and Sidney Aelbrecht.
The great ambience and accommodation gave me the opportunity to elaborate my research on painting and to meet many interesting artists from Netherlands.
The stimulating place and people gave me the chance to improve my curatorial practice.
I'm very glad and proud that my exhibition project has been selected from SEA Foundation Tilburg, who gave me this great opportunity to upgrade me and my work.
I hope to continue my curatorial experience and collaboration with SEA Foundation Tilburg in the next Spring!

The Lost and Found Natasha Conway’s paintings are born from a spontaneous and intuitive act devoid of any premeditation, surprising even the artist herself when the work is completed. Her small-size paintings are made of oil on linen or wood panel in line…

Traveling Without Moving   Painting for Colm Mac Athlaoich is an experiment of technique and colour, a journey into abstraction, a deep and personal experience, an unconscious automatism that takes life on the canvas. His painting is fluid, the ductus is…
