When we first arrived there was quite a line, which I was not surprised about and didn't mind waiting in, but we waited anyways since we were already there. The girl who was admitting people to the ticket lines did not know what she was doing at all. The area where you purchased tickets was very poorly organized, which is why it probably took forever to get in the actual place. We should have taken this as a warning sign and left, but we proceeded to spend $35 on a ticket that we'd later regret. The first event was the haunted house, which I don't have any complaints about. The second event was the new zombie paintball deal, which we were pretty excited about. We ended up waiting in line for 45+ minutes because they took FOREVER to get the paintball wagons set up, and when we finally got on -- our paintball guns didn't have any paintballs in them!!! We told two different people on the ride and they didn't do anything about it, so we had to sit through the entire thing while everyone else got to participate. Keep in mind that it's 35 degrees out, and even while being bundled up we were still pretty cold. The woman let us go on the hayride again and this time we actually got to participate. Everything was extremely disorganized and overpriced for what we got. I will NEVER go to this attraction again and will be telling others not to. There's a reason why they emphasize "NO REFUNDS" because the entire thing was awful and they know people would want their money back. Never going here again and I would not recommend it.

Absolutely THE BEST Halloween event ever! We go every year and take someone new with us, which turns into them taking someone new the next year!! I think about it all year in anticipation! And it seems to get better every year! Thanks to the people who put it on!! They must be crazy and we love them!

I found the hayride to have tons of cool props and decorations. The visuals are outstanding. But there was nothing about the hayride that was scary. I don't get scared, per se, but there was no memorable element of surprise or anything that made the live actors worth remembering, only the props and decorations. The haunted house had decent effort, but is limited in its layout, so it's not that special. Anything else they promote as part of your admission is just filler. I wouldn't recommend anybody making the road trip from Minneapolis or St. Paul up to Columbus. If you're in the area, see for yourself, but I was not impressed.

Went to the new location at Running Aces in Forest Lake and had a great time. The Hayride was the longest I've been on and really elaborate. It weaves through the forest and there are at least a dozen different scenes. Got a kick out of the hillbilly setup! Got a chance to try the Zombie Hunt paintball which was a ton of fun. I would definitely recommend this place for Halloween... has everything.

WOW! What a fun time! We took my 70+ year old parents to it and they had a blast. We all have been to the Nightmare Hallow Scream Park and thought it was 100 times better than that haunted hayride. As far as some of the other reviews. It looks like the Forest Lake hayride is having people write negative reviews. At the Nightmare Hallow Scream Park they tell people that the Wyoming MN hayride was originally theirs and talk very negative about the Wyoming haunted hayride. The people at the Dead End Hayride were great and what you get for the money is a much better offering then the poor excuse in Forest Lake. Thanks for a fun fun time last night!

This is the original north metro haunted event. Very fun, family oriented atmosphere. I have been coming to this hayride since its debut 20 years ago, and plan on continuing to attend for years to come. There is always something new going on every year, the light show featured this year is amazing! I cannot wait until this next weekend when Captain Jack Sparrow is making his long awaited appearance. For a fun night out with the family/friends, look no further than right here!
