Haven't had a chance to post anything in ages. Glad we got up for sunrise on this fall day in the Eastern Townships in Quebec.

This is by far the best view of Tel Aviv!

Another one from our recent trip to Santorini, Greece. We stayed in the Oia village and it seems there are blue-roofed churches at every turn. I think our taxi driver told us there is a church for every 30 people or so in Santorini!

Tel Aviv has so many cool and colourful neighbourhoods.  This road is just off Nachlat Binyamin which shuts down every Tuesday and Friday for a great pedestrian artisan market.  Each artist is certified by the city to ensure that what they are selling is made by hand and made locally.  Great idea for gifts if you are ever in Tel Aviv.

Keeping an eye on the Tel Aviv Port

At the popular north Tel Aviv hangout they often use the side of buildings for large advertisements.  I like the way they made this one (with the eye) look like it was peeking over one of the old hangars.  Definitely check this out for some good eats or some shopping if you are ever in #telaviv .  The skies are normally crystal clear.  I just happened to catch it on a rare stormy day here.

Sunset in Oia

It was amazing to stay in an old "cave" house in Oia a couple of weeks ago. This beautiful setting was about a 5 minute walk from our hotel. Santorini really is a magical place, and we feel so fortunate to have been able to experience its vistas and culture.

Hiking from Thira to Oia

When we were in Santorini, Greece a couple of weeks ago we did the hike from Thira to Oia. If you ask the Taxi drivers or look at a map, it seems like it should only take 1.5 hours. However, the views are far too beautiful to walk at that pace and it took us about 3 hours!

Sunrise in Santorini, Greece

It was so great to stay in an old cave house in Oia so that we could get up early and witness the beautiful sunrise in this amazing place.

We were fortunate to visit Santorini, Greece and hike from Thira to Oia on a beautiful spring day about a week ago. What a beautiful volcano/island!

Desert Sunrise

I took this one a couple of months ago as we caught the sunrise at Makhtesh Ramon in the middle of the Negev desert in Israel.  Coming from Canada these desert landscapes are totally foreign and fascinating to us.

Does anybody know what the objects in the window are?  I always stop by this shop on King George St in #telaviv  because I like the look of these parts.  I assume they are large ball bearings and other precision machining tools/products.
