Greet your church visitors with respect. . . . but not like this.
Several months ago, a church greeter kissed my wife. Other church greeters failed to make eye contact. We startled a church greeter by asking her a simple question “Where is the middle school Sunday school class meeting?” She didn’t know the answer and we created an awkward moment. This question really made me think.  I shared it here as well.  https://www.facebook.com/EvangelismCoach/photos/a.138497072937.138468.16800587937/10152842929102938/

The report of this miracle swept through the entire countryside.
- Matthew 9:26

As our family makes a trek to the third church in our church shopping campaign, I’m beginning to empathize in a new way with new movers like ourselves searching for a church to become a part of.
Continuing our series of church visit stories, we describe the church hospitality ministry experience of each visit.

After six visits to a local church, we quit going.  What made it so easy to leave?  What can your church do to help repeat visitors make a friend?
We visited one church 6 times over the course of 3 months since our move to our new place in Florida. It started off pretty good.  They made a really good first impression. But we dropped out. We stopped going. They have an awesome Sunday experience. Their worship service was both exciting and sacred. The …

Imagine: You confidently answer a question about why you follow Jesus. Your friend asks you how you became a Christian and you give a clear story. You share the gospel story without being tongue-tied. Just this week, I met a church member who felt that evangelism was not doable because he felt he had no …

Story
Introduction

I’ve conducted training on evangelism and church growth internationally since 1992 in over 10 different countries in the Americas.  I regularly teach in US and Latin America.  My first mission trips to Austira and to Costa Rica changed forever the way I do personal evangelism and church growth.
