One of the highlights of Faial, in my opinion, is the huge caldera. Striking geological features with endemic vegetation.

Photographing my city is something that recently grew on me. The old town is still one of my favorite subjects in Lisbon and the yellow trams are a classic.

This was shot at 11 am, an hour many photographers wouldn't go out on a clear sunny day. Push push push that creativity.

Holi is much more than colored powder and water being thrown around. The religious meaning of the festival is pretty much present and most people offer their prayers in the middle of the celebrations.

Sometimes it's hard to find an interesting composition to include the animal and the environment where it leaves. After a few unsuccessful trials I got this balanced composition that shows japanese macaques life in Jokugadani by early autumn.

Hverir is one of those breathing earth places in northern Iceland. Located in an already beautiful spot near Krafla and Myvatn, has some amazing soil colors and vapours flowing out from openings on the ground.

Intha fisherman are best known for their leg-rowing techniques. They live around Inle Lake and mainly work in fishery and agriculture.

Shot from a low viewpoint from a boat, the yellow net makes the scene standout on a dull day.
