Nearly 80% of K12 school districts report that their broadband connections are inadequate to meet their current needs. With 1:1 programs, a shift to cloud-based services, and encouraging people to bring their own devices, K12 districts are seeing a huge spike in usage. They are ill-prepared to address the future demand that will be placed on their infrastructure, including statewide student information systems, online professional development, and statewide online testing.

What is that future? Think 1 Gbps/1000 students in your district. What will it take?
