No one enjoys the car buying process, it's only fun for the first five minutes. I usually feel like I'm in the ocean with a bleeding wound waiting for the shark attack the second I step onto a car lot. I got a great deal and had a great experience at Hampton with salesman Jon Haynes. I felt totally comfortable and not at all pressured. My three children were in tow, and the staff at Hampton were ALL very kind, patient, and helpful with my circus crew even though they were quite a handful after an afternoon of traveling and dealership hopping. I came from out of town intending to purchase a different used vehicle from a different dealer, but decided to get a new one because Hampton had exactly what I was looking for. In the future, I will likely travel to Hampton even though I live 7 miles from the largest Toyota dealership in the state! Thank you Jon Haynes, Charles Boatmon, and Hampton Toyota for ending the car buying agony on a positive note!

Go else where to buy a vehicle.... customer service is horrible, and they are very dishonest people. They try to push the slogan that they are the number one Toyota dealer in Acadiana. Last time I checked... they're the only one. Easy to make that claim huh?? Our 2009 Camry was burning oil as an astonishing rate. Didn't receive a recall on that one. Too much of and expense and inconvenience for Toyota. They rather "fix" certain recalls.

I chose to shop via internet because of the convenience and to check pricing. I began my internet search for automobiles that would fit my budget and lifestyle. I sent inquiries to several dealerships, including Hampton Toyota. I had a response from Hannah Callen with Hampton within 10 minutes of sending it. She included her personal cell phone number so that I could contact her immediately. That was at 2:36 p.m. - I got to the dealership around 3:45. We discussed where I wanted to be with my payments, chose a vehicle and by 5:30 the paperwork was complete and my new 2014 Camry was being detailed! I will definitely refer all of my friends to Hannah. When I'm in the market for a new car again, I'll be contacting Hampton! Thanks again, Hannah! Angie Laneaux

I purchased a 2013 Cadillac SRX from Hampton and my experience was fantastic. I was helped immediately upon pulling up. Tyler Elizabeth Santopietro was absolutely amazing. She made my first experience buying a car the easiest thing ever. She was so polite, very personable, and knowledgeable. I previously went to multiple other dealerships looking to purchase, but didn't feel respected by any of them. Tyler was very patient with me, being a young first time car buyer and I definitely recommend anyone looking to purchase a vehicle to come here and see her!

in the last week
We recently bought a new 4 runner from them and they made everything as smooth as possible. We went to the dealership with set intentions on what we wanted to do, How much we were willing to spend on a new vehicle and we also wanted to have an easy experience this time having bought new and used vehicles from other dealerships in the past from Texas and Louisiana none of which were this great. What we did not do was tell Hampton toyota we wanted an easy fast experience they just made it one! This was by far the easiest transaction we had with a dealership anywhere they didn't have the vehicle we finally wanted but our sales lady Tyler Santopietro gave us her full attention and came back with multiple vehicles over the next few days and constantly stayed in contact with us until she found the vehicle we wanted and even took the time to explain certain features and add-ons of the vehicle once it was on the lot. Tyler did such a great job that if we decide to get another vehicle in the future we would gladly make the drive from New Iberia to Lafayette and skip all the local dealerships just because we know she will do her best and not give up until the job is done. The other person we dealt with was Finance to finalize paperwork (ugh I know) but it was also a pleasant experience Kyle Vidrine made it as easy as possible yes he did do the standard but not uncomfortable (for once!) offer of extra protection and warranties but he was not pushy nor did he get offended once we declined. Kyle Vidrine had all the paperwork ready and went over it all and even gave us time to look it over again before we signed anything. Lastly this was actually an enjoyable experience and we never expected it to be but we are happy with our new vehicle and highly recommend Hampton Toyota and if you go there don't be afraid to ask for Tyler Santopietro she will do whatever it takes to get you into the vehicle you want and not they vehicle they want you to have.

I had an EXCELLENT experience here at Hampton. I came here late on a Thursday evening after an AWFUL experience with Giles Subaru right next door. Upon exiting my vehicle, I was greeted immediately by Clement and was asked if I needed help. Clem directed me to the vehicles I was interested in and conversation was interesting, polite, and very laid-back. At no point in the process did I feel pressured or uncomfortable, including during the back and forth over pricing, which was very polite and cordial as well. Mr. Clem and Ms Jami even stayed late once I had accepted the deal to help me file the paperwork and get me home in my vehicle that night. This was very much appreciated! I HIGHLY recommend this place and I thank the team for their smooth dealing and excellent service!

Recently, I purchased a new Toyota Camry from Hampton Toyota. I was offered assistance by Ms. Morgen Credeur in sales. I have purchased vehicles over the years and this was one of the most pleasant "sales experiences" I have encountered. I described the vehicle I wanted and at no time did I feel pressured to look at or pushed toward something I was not interested in. She made contact after the sale to ensure my pleasure with my purchase. If you are planning to buy a Toyota, go to Hampton and ask for Ms. Morgen Credeur. If there was a plus sign after the 5 stars, I would have given that to her as well. I would also like to commend the Service Department. I have four years service experience with them as they have been servicing my Toyota Tundra. I would like to commend Ms. Cheryl Miller for her customer service. I recently missed my service appointment in the morning and she got me in that afternoon. I have always been treated with courtesy and respect by everyone I encountered in the Service Dept. They have been as accommodating as possible. Due to the sales and service experience I have encountered at Hampton by Ms. Morgen Credeur and Ms. Cheryl Miller, I will more than likely be continuing my dealings with Hampton Toyota.

Recently purchased a 2014 Tacoma and found everyone at Hampton to be very courteous and friendly. The sales person I dealt with, Jon Haynes, was very attentive and helpful. I found him to be knowedgeable about the vehicle and was able to answer any other question I had. The overall experience was casual without any pressure and very enjoyable. Thanks Jon and Hampton.
