Came here on Saturday for NCIAP Peoples Medical Care banquet with all of the top doctors in North Carolina. Great venue. The hall was beautiful and very big, perfect for our event. Staff was very kind and management generously gave a sponsorship for our nonprofit cause. Hope to come again next year.

Really really bad experience We usually go to party's hosted by Indian restaurants on the occasions like holi, diwali, new year's. This time we thought since Goels plaza boasts of a big dance floor, lets try..... and yes this was the MISTAKE we did for the new year's. I couldn't think of one good thing about this. I can just give some reasons why me and my friends will never go there. - Bad DJ (slow songs. I never heard these kind of songs not here nor back in India in college. Waste of time. A real real real Buzz kill) - No Booze ( Although they say they have a bar, booze is not served by a bar tender. So you can imagine how big the line would be and how the glasses would be). It looked like they wanted the money but don't want to serve anything. - Staff was rude including the organizers. - The crowd was booing most of the time as the DJ and one more guy were trying to teach salsa dancing. And when some of the folks threw some trash at them, they started threatening to call security and kept on with their stupid classes. Why would I want to learn salsa dancing in a new year party man. And after the party we complained to the owner and he was least concerned about the customers. I never saw such a rude management. Everyone from my group (North and South) had the same complain. Why dint the DJ play any good songs with beats. Such a shame. All in all, I would say its a big waste of money and time. Really bad experience. I would choose any Indian restaurant with a small floor any time of the day to this.

The 1 star review is completely false. We absolutely LOVED Goel's Plaza's facility and their New Year Party. We go every year for a reason: Goel's Plaza caters to the public needs. I apologize to Goel's Plaza for the the other review's misguiding words, because your party was an absolute blast! I'm thankful to get a ticket because it sold out very quickly! Now, to prove that the 1 star review is misguiding by my personal attendance to the event: 1) BIGGEST DANCE FLOOR IN THE STATE - I've been to restaurant parties too, but Goel's Plaza is much bigger! I can actually dance with my family out on their floor, not worry about tables in the way. The management opens up 2 entire ballrooms just for dancing! Even with 600+ people there, I was still able to get my groove on. 2) DJ WAS GREAT! - The crowd was literally blowing kisses to this DJ! I wish I got the DJ's name, because he played every song the crowd wanted. He would even give shout outs to the crowd requests :) The best part was that he kept the dance floor moving! I don't know what that other review was talking about, but I didn't hear a single slow song except for the couples dance for the midnight romance...perfect! Nobody was booing. There was only one guy, very drunk, who was booing during the slow, couples song - that guest was very rude and should've had security pull him out. Clearly, we all were enjoying Times Square on the big screen, a romantic song, and our beautiful partners :) 3) PLENTY OF ALCOHOL/STAFF - I chuckled at this one, because Goel's Plaza definitely had a strong bartending staff. I know because I ordered margarita rounds for my table multiple times! There was no such thing as pouring your own drinks haha, I tipped the bartenders handsomely because they did so well. Not only that, the drinks were very reasonably priced!! 4) WELL-WORTH THE MONEY - There is a reason my family traveled all the way from Texas for this party, because it's worth it! They left incredibly happy and actually wanted the organizers to bring the party down to Houston! We got party favors, awesome music, great salsa dancing, friendly service, a loaded bar, a fabulous hall, and an extremely memorable NYE! 5) ORGANIZERS/MANAGEMENT WERE VERY RESPECTFUL - The organizers do what the community wants! Management heard that the crowd wanted salsa and diversity, so they even brought out salsa instructors. The organizers were very respectful. After every NYE, they always email our group thanking us for coming and asking for feedback. :) They also helped us reserve our group table near the dance floor and personally gave us a call before the event to make sure my Texas guests have reached okay. The organizers even hype up the crowd and give free gifts on stage! Wow! I really wish they called security on that rude guest though, because we were all having a great time! At the end of the event, the organizers stood near the entrance personally wishing every guest a happy new year. Very humble. The owner cares about his customers, which is why it's a sold out crowd. He always asks us what music we'd like to hear so that the DJ can make sure to play it for us. I'm impressed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED EVENT :) Don't let the previous negative review misguide you, since I can testify that his information is wrong based on the above information from a true experience. The negative review may be a competitor restaurant or the only rude guy in the audience. I can't wait to bring my group to Goel's again next year!
