The Kaap Skil Maritime and Beachcombers Museum on Texel Island, transports visitors to the village of Oudeschild in the Golden Age. Dutch traditions such as the reuse of washed-up objects inspired the design of this modest but striking museum building.

Studying medicine previously, Ian Ritchie gradually became bored, and so embarked on architecture, looking for beauty.

This was undoubtedly a good decision. He is the first foreign architect to win the Silver Medal for Innovation from the French Academy of Architecture.

The building is intended to stimulate people to come up with more ideas of exploring their relationship with the nature, and itself also becomes part of the nature.

The 6th episode of the series Hidden Architectural Treasures was just released!

Zdeněk Lukeš will make his last stop at Wenceslas Square, at Peterka's House. This Art Nouveau building was built between 1899 and 1900, its layout was designed by William Tierhier and the facade was modified by Jan Kotěra in 1899.

Barrakka Lift in Valletta by Architecture Project is located on the edge of Malta’s historic fortified capital city of Valletta.

Where once the sixteenth century fortified walls of the town served to keep enemy ships at bay, they are now under conservation order and provide an unbeatable new access for visitors and residents flocking here.
