Here it is. My booth at The Vista School Craft Fair. It starts tomorrow at 9 AM. It's out in Hershey. Address is 1021 Springboard Drive. If your GPS can't find that address try 698 Clearwater rd Hershey. That will get you close enough to follow the signs. If for no other reason you should at least come see me and take a look at our beautiful campus. Hope to see you tomorrow.

On October 11th. There is a World Wide Photowalk. Each year Scott Kelby and his company as well as sponsors setup the Photowalk. Here is the link to the page. http://kelbyone.com/photowalk/
I was hoping to go again this year but I will be selling at a craft fair in the morning when most of the walks are usually happening.
I mention this because I think it would be great to do an evening Photowalk. My issues lie here on that there are none setup in the area at this point. I am not skilled at organizing these types of things and I was hoping maybe one of you was and would want to. It can be done anywhere. I have done the walk that was setup in Harrisburg a few times over the past couple few years.
It really doesn't take much to be a leader other then the willingness and a knowledge of an area that would be fun to walk around and photograph. And afterwards typically there is a meetup at a local establishment where food and drink are consumed and stories are told.
Oh and there is a possibility of prizes and the prizes are pretty good prizes. Did I mention that there is a possibility of participating in a competition where you can win prizes?

Is there anyone willing to setup and lead a walk? I'd even be willing to lead the group if you would do the setup and route planning.

Anyone out there have a Nikon DX compatible lens I can have? My four year old and I have started to do photography together. My only issue is that he is using my old D40x, because I just bought a D7000 and I have only two lenses comparable with the d40x. One is a borrowed 18-200 and the other is a 35mm. He likes to be able to zoom wants to use that one. Problem is. That is my best zoom lens and I use it all the time. So does anyone have a decent zoom lens that would work on his D40x? I have like 20 bucks.

Quick question to everyone. I am thinking about getting Apple TV. Does anyone have experience with it? Can you tell me about it please. Not looking for Apple sucks or anything like that just wondering about apple TV. #appletv #apple
From what I am seeing its not a replacement for cable but more like what I have been using my Xbox for. Plus the ability to use my mac and other I devices. Thanks in advance.

This is from last year, but I always enjoy the foggy mornings and evenings in spring. Wish I had more time to stop. Here is a mag I made of the Lancaster area. Take a look and see if you recognize any of the places. http://fp.mu/vnHubv hope the link works.

Story
Introduction
I just got a camera for Christmas. I started to take pictures of my son and realized its fun and I am great at it. My son told me so. He's incredibly verbal for a two year old. So now I am a professional. I have taken hundreds of pictures at this point and everyone loves them. Even my mother told me I should be a pro. Okay just kidding. My story really isn't a whole lot different though. I did get a Nikon N75 for Christmas sometime in the early 2000s. I took a lot of pictures of my fish tank and my fish, family, snow and everything else. I was very hesitant to use film but enjoyed doing it. I started doing research on DSLR's in my price range sometime before 2008. After doing my research I settled on the Nikon D40x. Mainly because I was able to setup and maintain an aquarium in my wife's office and her boss paid me upfront for the whole year. Giving me $1200 or so. Which was perfect for getting me the camera with the two lens kit. Things took off from there. I'm still carrying my D40x with me everywhere I go. I no longer have to worry about the cost of film. So I shoot much more then I used to. I haven't found any specific style or genre of photography I love so much to focus on at this point. But I will continue to shoot and enjoy it. I am still learning every day about photography and now PS. I look forward each time to liking more of the images I have captured because I learned something from the last time. Thanks for reading and enjoy capturing those images. Oh yeah I work at The Vista School in Hershey PA. A school for children with moderate to severe Autism.
