Nadine was developed at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. She is capable of learning. Her vocabulary expands the more she interacts with people. It appears to be a Markovian algorithm similar to the one MegaHAL uses. I am working on a similar program using FreeTTS, Sphinx, and JMegaHAL. Having a physical body like this for the software would be awesome.
