Martha Stewart Turns Shrimp Into Brains - and It's Now Official" +byron rempel and his +1000 zombies Project has influenced Martha!

If the ZOMBIE HORDE KING ever had a Halloween recipe to appease all the little zombies on All Hallow's Eve, this is it. And it's Martha approved! ha!

Creative presentation can turn classic cocktail shrimp into a gruesome Halloween hors d'oeuvre.

Yield
Serves 8 to 10

Ingredients

2 3/4 pounds large shrimp, peeled, deveined, and cooked
1 tablespoon powdered gelatin
1 teaspoon finely grated fresh horseradish
1 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
3/4 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Prepared cocktail sauce, for serving

Directions

1. Arrange shrimp in a 6 1/2- to 7-cup brain-shaped mold with tails facing upwards in vertical rows.

2. Fill a glass bowl with 1 2/3 cups cold water; sprinkle gelatin over water and let stand 5 minutes. In a small saucepan, cook gelatin mixture over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until gelatin has dissolved. Whisk in lemon juice, horseradish, salt, Old Bay, and cayenne pepper until well combined.

3. Pour gelatin mixture over shrimp in mold. Cover with plastic wrap, pressing down on the surface. Fit a plate into mold and weight with cans. Refrigerate until set, about 5 hours. Invert mold onto a serving platter; serve with cocktail sauce.

Why not just take things off the menu that you aren't good at making? Just take it off the menu! I love Eggplant Parmesan and any cook that serves it knows that you slice the eggplant super thin because egg plant holds water. Slice it thin and fry it in a little olive oil before baking with cheese and sauce.The 3/4 of an inch thick pieces you served makes it WAY to soggy...so soggy that the breading falls off. The sauce was pretty good...I'll give you that and everything in the salad was fresh but the eggplant parm experience was VERY disappointing. The gyro sandwiches my boyfriend and his mom ordered weren't even edible. It was like the meat had been in deep freeze for way too long then heated in the microwave. They took 2 bites and couldn't even eat it. Again, if you can't make it good then why is it on your menu? And the french fries tasted like they were frozen then baked instead of fried! How can you mess up fries? You have a prime location...how about putting a little bit of pride and effort into your establishment? Call Gordon Ramsey, have him redo your menu and teach you how to make simple but kick ass dishes that make your customers want more instead of never wanting to ever come back. You can do better than what I experienced tonight. Anyone can do better than you did tonight. I feel robbed. Our bill was $70 and we couldn't even eat it.

After checking reviews and looking them up on a resturarant inspections website, I gave King's Wok a try. When I placed my order, the person on the phone just hung up the phone, without getting my name or anything. I thought .."well this is going to be interesting". When I got there, she indeed had my order ready and it was delicious!! I ordered vegetable lomein, vegetable fried rice,a nd a vegtable egg role. Everything was cooked just right...VERY fresh veggies and their food wasn't over salted or MSGed. 5 stars King's Wok!

Great place for breakfast!! Friendly, clean, nice atmosphere and staff. The breakfast specials are awesome. Ham, egg, and cheese omelet, toast and home fries for $2.99!! Fresh and tasty!! The only thing that bothers me is the rocking chair toilet thing they have on display in the restaurant. WTH? Why is there a homemade toilet looking thing in the restaurant???
