There are better, less expensive stores in which one can find high quality vegetables. But their cheese section? Oh my goodness, their cheese section. 5 stars right there. I mean, their isles are super tiny, and getting to the store is a hassle, and everything is really insanely expensive, but hey! -- they have sheep's milk cheese from three different Eurozone countries! Right? Right?! Naw, I'm being too hard on them. Their butcher and fish monger really are nearly the best in the city. I'm just bitter, because I had *hoped* that the quality food revolution which seemed to go mainstream in the early 00's should have translated into lower costs as more and more people demanded the higher quality and organic sourcing. But, that never materialized. So, shame on you, American retail grocers.

It's like HEB and Whole Foods had a baby and it's wonderful. A place to find both specialty items as well as your normal weekly grocery runs (items also sold at HEB are the same cost here too). Their meat and seafood counter folks are super knowledgeable. This location also has a cafe and large outdoor patio with live music to sit and enjoy some beer/food. All in all a great experience! Love shopping here.

Wonderful alternative to Whole Foods! Doesn't take your entire paycheck and actually has fantastic quality. Great for a quick meal or for groceries

Best produce and meat in town. Go on a Friday night and grab a beer or bottle of wine inside the store and enjoy on the deck listening to live music.

I go here to buy their "Acme" smoked salmon. (Lox) The last two times I was in I asked them to special order me some "Acme" smoked Sable. They have done this for me in the past. I left my phone number. So far after over a month no one has ordered it for me or even bothered to get back to me. Since "Acme" moved from New York to California, you would think it would be even easier to order it for me. I don't know why the seafood manager has been blowing me off, but both times I was in their I gave the seafood employees my name and number. I spend over $100 when I go in there but now I stopped going since the seafood dept doesn't seem to know how to treat their customers.....

We like to eat dinner at the outdoor café on the weekends. It is a fun comfortable family atmosphere. A playground entertains the children while parents sip wine and listen to live music.

Central Market is just about the ONLY place I shop. The origin of the foods and the prices are clearly marked, and there is a wide selection nicely displayed. (I much prefer Central Market to Whole Foods for many reasons.) I love the bulk spice area and the selection of tea and coffee. Five stars...definitely excellent. A good place for family and friends to gather, and the playscape is wonderful for the children. Love the live music!

Absolutely love this store. This is the answer to all my food prayers and super close to my place which is a plus. Everything from their Meat section, to fruits and vegetables, to their bulk produce section are awesome, and have a good variety to choose from. They have a good mix of organic produce and normal produce to choose from. You can grind your own coffee beans, get lost in the huge cheese section and on your way out pick up some wine as well. The Cafe serves some good food and coffee, and I love their pizzas. For a quick takeaway meal check out the fresh Deli section, they have a range of soups, meal for two options and salads to choose from.

Central Market hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
