My family and I have been coming here for over 20 years, and we have never had a bad experience. It is so relaxing to just sit there while the ocean waves go underneath you. We always love the steamed clams they are a must!!! If you sit on the restaurant side you can get the fisherman's feast which is amazing, but the minimum is two people, and a lot of food!!! Enjoy!!!

Great location.... Over priced soup kitchen food. Seafood is sub par at best... Wish this place would close down and be replaced with something better.

Located directly on San Clemente Pier, Fishermans Restaurant offers incredibly ocean views with a fantastic seafood menu. On the left side of the pier is the more upscale menu selection, while on the right is the Oyster Bar which offers a more affordable food selection. Be prepared for a long wait for a table on either side during the weekend as it is the perfect restaurant to catch the SoCal sunset!

Mussels were good, prawns were okay, New England clam chowder in the bread bowl was great. Service was good and the view was amazing! Go for happy hour, Monday-Friday 4-7!

Ate lunch here today, on a Saturday and were seated in about 20 minutes. Not bad for as busy as it was. Server was quick to greet us and get orders placed. The food was good, atmosphere was great. Server was a bit slow on the drink refills and getting the check. I wouldn't say that in and of itself warrants knocking a star off. After we were done eating the gal behind the register was doing thirty different things. I wanted to buy a shirt but she wouldn't give me the time of day. She was busy with everything except me. Sure, they were busy but I only needed a minute of their time for a shirt. If she would have been nicer and given me the time of day I would rate this place 5/5. Either she needs to place the customer standing in front of you first, or they just need more help at busy times. Either way, 4/5. I wild cone back for sure. Without a doubt. Prices were reasonable I though. Some items expensive but most were reasonable for on the pier seafood.

The location is amazing! Group of seven and not one of us liked our meals which included sirloin scampi, seafood alfredo, burger, and seafood salads which was honestly the worst plate of food I've ever paid for!

Fun place to eat!! Good food. All five of us enjoyed our choice of seafood and the view is wonderful. We watched the sunset from our window view of the pier and ocean.

First: the food. Very delicious, everyone in my party liked what we had. The dishes were somewhat expensive, however I feel that most big ticket items on their menu were righteously so. The pasta was overpriced. The happy hour was decent, but you have to go restaurant side to get a full menu. Atmosphere: excellent. Heat lamps outside will keep you warm in the evenings, and inside the bar and restaurant were clean and comfortable. Finally: service. Lackluster. Thankfully our waiter was one of the better ones, he seemed courteous and friendly, and was one of the few who smiled, though he was slow. Otherwise, I was frankly unimpressed by the staff considering how much I paid for the meal.
