My boyfriend and I ordered at the same time. We waited at least 20 minutes before his sandwich was ready. Then another 20 before mine was, about 16 sandwiches were made between his and mine. Ridiculous wait. So much for first come, first served. Ice maker was empty, restaurant was dirty and sandwiches (his BBQ and my veggie) were SO bland. Won't come again.

3 people in line before me. Took at least 20 min to get the food and several things are wrong (including beef on my vegetarian burrito). Well done, idiots.

I had eaten several slices of pizza when I found a chunk of sausage on my vegetarian pizza. Had I eaten it, it would have made me very sick since I've been a vegetarian for 20 years. There's no excuse for that. Pure laziness.

WAXING ONLY REVIEW. I've been waxed before but it's expensive. I saw the Groupon and I thought it would be an opportunity to try a new place. I'm very sorry I did. The wax is sub-par and she left it on too long. She would paint a large area before she went back to do the pulling. By then the wax was glued to my skin and the strips kept slipping out of her hands. Like ripping out my bikini hair a few at a time. It was so violent and painful I was in tears. This is NOT how it was supposed to be. I was afraid she was taking my skin off. This fear was heightened when I told her to stop and stood up to see I was bleeding profusely from my private parts. She said it must have been an ingrown hair, but when I got home and washed I saw she pulled a couple of moles off with the wax. It felt like she was taking off my skin. As I said, I've been waxed before at Georgi's Royal Oak and it was a bit uncomfortable in the sensitive areas. But I had no lasting pain or redness and certainly no bleeding! At Indulge, not only was it a terrible experience, but most of the hair broke off and several spots were missed entirely. So I still had to shave on my vacation. It turns out that the esthetician isn't even affiliated with the salon. She merely rents a room from them. I learned this after my torturous waxing session. Do yourself a favor and find a GOOD waxing place.

The thing I wish I knew when I came to mhni was that it is first and foremost a business. Based on my experience, the primary goal of the Institute is to make money, and lots of it. I'm sure that they've helped many people, and if they accept your health insurance it's definitely worth a shot. If you have to pay cash and aren't independently wealthy, tread very very lightly. Every time you have a procedure, test, fill out an evaluation, receive a medication, etc. ask what this will cost. ESPECIALLY in the hospital. Even if the hospital accepts your insurance, you still have to ask because for everything the hospital charges your insurance, mhni will charge you a separate fee. A big one. If mhni doesn't accept your insurance, I would strongly suggest you find a neurologist that does accept it and exhaust all their treatment options first. I have been treated by Henry Ford for 15 years. I came to mhni out of desperation because nobody can help me. I had high hopes, but in the end, they had few medications or treatments that I had not already tried at Henry Ford (for free with my insurance). It was the same old song and dance, try this seizure drug, this antidepressant. Even in the hospital it was DHE which I've had already many times, nerve blocks, spinal tap, etc. If you are lucky enough to have insurance that mhni accepts, this is a better place to go for chronic migraine, just because they will get to the same end a little faster. I was at the hospital with a woman who left pain free. But her chronic migraines were a new development and a nerve block was the solution. The two other ladies I became friendly with had long-term chronic migraines like me. And like me, they left no better off than they had come. On a good note, the hospital is a much more comfortable place to be than your average neurology floor in a hospital. Dr. Saper is very kind and I know that if there was anything else he could have done for me, he would have. The majority of the nursing staff is wonderful and helpful at Chelsea. Hopefully my case is unusual, and I have to wait for medical science to catch up. If you are reading this, I wish you the best of luck. I hope you are one of the mhni patients that have a successful outcome.

As I was waiting in line, I watched the employee take a big scoop of chicken (which was mounded up in the container), and so a good deal of chicken spilled over into the pinto and black beans. I'm a vegetarian, and so I asked her what I could eat. It's not only a moral imperative, but after so long without any, meat would make me violently ill. In a rude tone of voice, she said nothing can be guaranteed vegetarian because they serve meat in the restaurant. Funny, because I NEVER have a problem getting vegetarian food at taco bell, del taco, or Chipotle. I don't appreciate the attitude, and minimal changes in the layout of the food bins could fix this problem.

Great first ever waxing experience. The salon is really nice and the waxing was a very comfortable experience. If I wasn't on a budget this would be my go-to salon! But other places charge half as much.
