This is by far the best college I have ever attended the instructors are attentive and very much committed to each student to Graduation the atmosphere of the class is a great feeling the students are encouraged to work together as a team and motivation is definitely a participant and the rules are taken seriously I love this school and equality for all students definitely exists

For a community college this place has a LOT going for it. Everyone I've worked with, taken classes from (in the main campus as well as their community education classes), have been fantastic. The campus is beautiful, the bookstore is very nice, and the classrooms are relatively good. The location can't really be beat either-- movie theater & restaurants nearby. I recommend you check it out yourself.

I graduated with my AAS in Early Childhood Education in 2013. The ECE program here is AMAZING! Ellen White is amazing! I am now currently getting my BA through Southern Oregon University in ECD. The great thing is MHCC has agreements with TONS of universities that allow you to take your pre-reqs at MHCC and your degree courses with the university. This cuts down on tuition cost by A LOT! Many people have complained about parking. Yes, it is full most of the time. Most college parking lots are like that. If you show up about 20 min before your class...you will find a good spot. I have never had to park "far away" from my class and this is now my fourth year going here full time. Most instructors here are really helpful and friendly. I have yet to come across an instructor that I felt I couldn't approach. If you put in the work, don't make excuses, and do what you need to do to succeed there won't be any issues. MHCC also offers many resources for many different people. They however do not advertise these resources very well I have found. The two best resources I have found that work the best for people are the main computer lab (open early and closes at 9!) and also the Head Start Program for parents who need to go to school but don't have a way to get a babysitter. This program is amazing, and the staff are well educated. PLEASE! ask around for other resources like the ones I've mentioned...it will make life so much easier. The campus is always fairly clean. They keep up on maintenance and make the campus look visually appealing.

Bullied by the teacher in sculpture class, repeatedly! So disappointed in the integrity of the art dept. Don't waste your money trying to learn here.

Please ignore people complaining about financial aid. You are responsible for applying for your own FASFA like any other real college, school has nothing to do with it. The school is great in every aspect. Parking is tight but you can always find something it just might be far from your class at times.

Parking is just horrible but it's a pretty good school. Most days of the week, all the parking lots are full and there's like 10 other people driving around the campus looking for a parking spot. If you arrive 10 minutes before your class during the morning especially, forget that because you're looking at being 15-20 minutes late even if you arrive to campus fairly early. Even 1 extra parking spot would make a huge difference.
