People seem to love this place, but it's not that good. The atmosphere's everything you'd want: It's dark and warm and cozy, and that big coal oven looks like it's going to spew out magic. It doesn't. We've had the regular pie and the one with broccoli rabe and sausage. These pizzas aren't the worst, but for the moderate hype this place gets, they're too chewy with not enough crisp (you need both) and none of the ingredients stand out. I will say the rabe was actually pretty decent. The calzone looked good so we ordered it the one time we tried takeout, and THAT was a disappointment. I could've bought the Virginia Ham they put inside at a discount grocery store. It's not that it was disgusting, it's just that. C'mon! Deli ham?I could've expected that it wasn't going to be in the Lucali conversation, but it's not even close to South Brooklyn Pizza on Court, House of Pizza and Calzones, or most of the other places in the 'hood.Plus, the staff is non-attentive and forgetful. Go there for a glass of wine and maybe one of their appetizers if you'd like, but it's not a place we'd go back to for dinner.

The tacos were excellent (very flavorful) but the service needs work. It took 50 minutes to get four tacos with only 3 other people/couples in the restaurant, and the three looking-for-something-to-do employees behind the bar didn't show much contrition. The place is new so I'll amend this if things get better, and yes I'm going to find out because all the tacos are awesome. Don't get a margarita though, it seemed to be missing the Triple Sec.

The best place to watch a game in Bay Ridge. Service, food, atmosphere and beer selection are top notch. Tacos on taco night are cheap and great, the wings and totchos (tots with the nacho treatment, you ignoramus) and hot dogs are all good. Never had anything bad here, except some tough Ranger losses.

It used to be the best burger in Bay Ridge before Korzo came along with its olive oil voice and guinea charm. If you go to Burger Bistro, get just the classic one with bacon and cheddar on a brioche bun to appreciate it, but definitely take advantage of the special ones too. They can be hit or miss depending on your tastes - the rodeo burger had too much bbq sauce for MY taste but maybe would be loved by some Neanderthal who likes that sort of thing. The Buffalo tots are great too, to the point where I don't even think I remember what the fries taste like.

Just a great, sturdy New York slice, perfect proportions of cheese and sauce, crispy but chewy. Everything that's good about a NY slice.

Wow, this place is great. Good beer selection, an entire portion of the menu dedicated to waffle fries, and all the hot dogs and sausages my friends and I tried were amazing. The service is great, as is the outdoor space.
