I love God and His Word, I also love to study His Handiwork, especially the genetic code in every aspect possible.
Introduction
I studied the primary (primaria) in the extinct Anáhuac Cordilleras, secondary (secundaria) in the Anáhuac Chapalita, then High-School in la Prepa Varonil de la UAG, then in the same university the Bachelor´s Degree in Agricultural Engineering and the specialty in Animal Science. Then I did my Master´s Degree in Biotechnology in the UdeG and the CIATEJ, AC, and my Ph.D. in the UdeG and in the Baylor College of Medicine (BCM, Predoctoral in anti-obesity), then I did teach Veterinary Sciences and Animal Genetics in the UNICO, UAG, Biochemistry in the CUCS, UdeG, and Molecular Biology in the Centro Universitario de la Costa (CUC), UdeG, in Puerto Vallarta. Finally I did my Postdoctoral in anti-atherosclerosis again at the BCM. Now I am searching for the most awesome job that I ever imagined, my professional Ephesians 3:20. Some of my works can be found at: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?term=%22Castro-Chavez%20F%22
Bragging rights
Before, I wrote and article related with the most modern representation of the genetic code: A functional tetrahedron, for the journal of Bio-Complexity: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22997604 I wish to thank everybody that has been able to carefully read and to directly link, thus promoting, my works!!! (smile).

Work
Occupation
Right now I am very impressed with the 64 codons being represented since at least 4,000 years ago and preserved by China in the I Ching or Book of Changes or Mutations, my article in the new Journal of Proteome Science and Computational Biology (JPSCB) of the Herbert Publications in London dealt with some of these fascinating findings: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3575644 Having several more related studies and ideas on the way... [Again, I wish to thank everybody that is directly promoting my original and off-the-box studies; certainly the Hand from Heaven will sooner or later reach-out giving the proper dues to all men.]
Skills
Recently I added Certificates from the M.I.T., Harvard and Berkeley to my Computer Sciences skills, plus from Rice University and from the U. of Toronto.

Hey you! Do you know me? If you do, you may better contact me at my FB-I: http://www.facebook.com/fernando.castrochavez.90 The reason is that I barely have time to keep up with only ONE social network. Is that fair? Thanks!
Facebook is a social utility that connects people with friends and others who work, study and live around them. People use Facebook to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of photos, post...
