Definately recommend this clinic, in special, Dr. Yorram. Extremely kind, gentle, clearly loves what he does. He was very cautious when he had to medicate my dog. My dog is a bit traumitised (rescued dog), he has a special health condition and doctor Yorram was amazing - listening to the entire past history of Bingo and being very gentle on his approach. I am very glad I went to Medivet.

We found a newborn kitten on our doorstep late last night and Medivet were more than happy to help, They looked him over, cleaned him up and gave us great advice and only charged us for the milk! So glad that places like this exist, god knows what we would've done if they weren't open! The staff were also really friendly and helpful, would highly recommend!

My kitten has an ear infection and I couldn't get an appointment with my Vet soon enough so I thoght I'd give this place a try as they are open 24hrs. The receptionist was very unpleasant. I watited there for about 25 minute or so before one the the nurses came out to explain that they were running late because they had 2 emergencies. We finally saw the Vet about 15-20 mins later. I was very surpised that the Vet has immediately suggested to admit the kitten to sedate her and drain the debris althought she did give a second option which I took to give the kitten an antibiotic and drops. The bill was almost 90 pound which my partner thought it was expensive. I wouldn't mind paying more if the patice was clean and staff was caring. I would not use their service again.

I've had a great experience with them I found them really professional, helpful, and reassuring at a time when my cat was very poorly.

I'm surprised to see some negative reviews here as I've used this practice extensively and find them to be pleasant and helpful, very conscientious and highly skilled. They saved my cat's life after he was hit by a car, and then performed a complex operation to save one of his back legs. The after-care was time consuming for us all but they were great throughout. It's true that they are not cheap but, as someone else says, they provide an emergency 24/7 service (without which my cat would be dead), and anyway whoever found a cheap vet?

It is very unfair to judge MediVet whole group due to a television programme. My cat has been under their care for 3 years and the vets and nurses have always been kind and professional. I sometimes have to wait a bit as they do not rush the animal during the consultation. I use mainly Kingston and Richmond branches and have also used the nurses to be my catsitters. They have been brilliant. Of course, they are not 'NHS' and pet owners need to have their pet insurance. A friend recommended them in the first place. The branch near me (Kingston) has limited opening hours but Richmond opens 24 hours. If my cat needs an emergency treatment I do not need to go through his full history and the vet can see everything from the computer file (and this did happen once and it was very convenient not only for his treatment but also for insurance paper work). There are a few (meter) parking spaces in front of the Kingston branch and you can park on the forecourt (not always easy) in the Richmond one. I am speaking from my own experience and they are caring people.
