New advancements on the gaming front herald a game-changing shift from the traditional console based mayhem and magic that has been the staple of Nintendo strategy. Will this new direction up the game and bring Nintendo back to lead, or is it too little, too late?

Smartwatches are actually selling and selling quite well (jury is out on how well Apple is doing, but with the release of the Apple Watch 2 and new features pitched at WWDC this could still apply to them), so what makes the latest smart watch entry different?
