Early last year the ladies of Yorkshire Rose Glades in Scarborough adopted Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team as their charity for 2011.
This evening they presented us with a cheque for £1,150 which they have raised over the last 12 months.
The team are in the process of re equipping all team members on the call out list with new waterproofs and this is a valuable contribution to that cost.
Yorkshire Rose Glades meet each Wednesday evening at the Westover Social Club in Scarborough.
The picture shows Maureen Robinson and the ladies handing the cheque over to Ian Hugill, Deputy Team Leader, Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue team.
Thank you ladies and good luck with your fundraising activities for local causes in 2012.
