Love it or hate it, there’s no denying that Marmite is very good for you in many ways. We've listed our top five and if you do hate it, we think you’ll soon change your mind! 1. It’s a superfood Believe it or not, that sludgy brown substance has...

I write this to you from the heart of the French Alps where the snow is falling heavily outside. Tomorrow morning when I wake up to train the temperature will below freezing. Not only that, it will be dark. I don’t have to explain this situation to you, I know you folks know the drill! It’s winter and it’s here... Read more →

This whole Scottish Independence thing is depressing, I get that many of my friends describe themselves as Scots, or English/Welsh/Cornish/Irish... And that's fine, I am happy for them to do so, and delight in OUR diversity. But I am British, we have always been British and I'm deeply offended by the idea of splitting up Britain that has been so central to my whole identity for the last 30 years, and which has been central to the identities of so many of US through the years.

That there are deep problems with our political system I fully accept (those of you who know me best will know my views and opinions) I agree; the Westminster government is failing us but that's OUR problem, and Westminster fails the rest of us every bit as much as they fail Scotland. I am deeply upset that such a seemingly large portion of my fellow countrymen, and women, want to simply leave the rest of us behind and horrifed by the appearance that it's a step so lightly taken.

I wish that rather than ripping apart our Union, during a time of huge flux (societal, cultural & political), you'd all pursue a more productive path to greater devolution of power for the whole of Britain, and a weakening of both the Party System and the Westminster parliament. So that the WE can ALL get on with OUR lives with less interference from a central government.

Changes of this magnitude should not be undertaken in a hurry, we should be building for the long term not destroying for hurried short term gain.

Why are there so many English people now living in Scotland intending to vote Yes?
The Westminster political system has been in the gutter for many years. This got worse when the expenses scandal hit the front pages. Why not ask Alistair Darling about flipping houses.
Joe six pack is fed up paying for that lot.

I got this letter from a LinkedIn reader:Dear J.T.,Why do employers lie to get you to take the job? The last two companies I've worked for have done the same thing. They promise me things, but once I'm in the job, they don't deliver. I'm tired of getting taken advantage of and don't now how to make it stop. What am I doing wrong? This happens a lot. And frankly, it's going to get even worse as the talent shortage increases and companies play dirty...

Good man, great video. I had the same back in 2005, as you observe it doesn't need to stop you living life. Good luck with your next set of results.

First off, I’m not going to make any bones about it. I’m for the Union, I was born in UK, all be it in the Scottish part. I’ve lived in the UK all my life, I grew up immersed in UK culture: watching British TV, listening to B...

An old fashioned IT Support company, they do a passable job if you aren't looking for anything too complex, and so long as you want a traditional restrictive IT environment. Their staff members are helpful, if too ready to automatically state that a problem is insurmountable, friendly, and competent working with Microsoft. If you are yourself technically literate you may find that you can successfully undertake the work for which you would otherwise pay them. If you haven't the time to do so they can.
