If someone complains about this pizza, just ignore the comment and go to try it yourself. It's delicious. Be prepared to stay on the line waiting for your number to be called out, to seat with strangers and to wait a bit more once inside. It's cheap and italians eat here for a reason: it's one of the best, period.

Horrendous service - waited an hour to get in (which was fine given how popular the place is) however upon being seated servers were actively rude when we were trying to grab their attention (made faces at us, rolled eyes) to check on the status of our order as others were served before us who were seated 15-20 min after us (the servers weren't even serving anyone else). Be prepared to spend a lot of time waiting not just in Queue . BTW, Pizza is great but recommend saving your Euros and spending your time and money at a place that welcomes your patronage.

A Naples institution. Queues might be incredibly long especially on weekends. Better get a take away one (ask to the till) and sit somewhere outside on a bench nearby to enjoy it. Make sure you have a few hand wipes :-)

I've been here quite a few times and discovered that if you don't want to wait for a table, you need to arrive at around 11:30 - 11:45. The pizza is nothing fancy but in my opinion that's what makes it worth going. Only two options and the ingredients feel fresh and the dough is tasty. It's maybe not the best in the world but it's pretty good for €5 (€4 if you order the normal but I always go for a doppio margherita).

Used to be one of the very best Pizzerias in Naples, but since it became famous worldwide thanks to a popular book and movie the quality dropped down dramatically. It is now a touristic place were waiters take pictures for the customers, and serve them poor sometimes burned pizzas. On the top of that, you might have to wait for an hour to be served because staff works incredibly slowly. Try instead Di Matteo for a super cheap, good quality variety of pizza and fried specialties, or go to 50 kaló for the very best quality and service. Furthermore both these places serve all their customers almost instantaneously.

Nice ambiance, but not a great pizza. You get to share a table with other people which I think it is a great experience since you mingle with locals, but then the pizza came in and it was a disappointment, the dough is very salty and they do not pay attention to the details on their pizza, no basil in the Pizza Margarita, my stomach was very upset all night due to the saltiness, next day I went to the place across the street D'Angeli and that place although not crowded does have a better pizza overall. I had to try da Michele because of the reviews but not a good pizza unfortunately, I tried the beer they serve in da Michele and it was disappointing as well, I wonder why they switched brands

I loved this place. Simple and very busy pizza joint that only serves Margherita or Marinara. Service is considerably friendly when you think about the masses of people coming through here in a good mix of tourists and locals. Definitely go for the Margherita and upsize it, for just €4.5 total a complete no brainer. After you ate it, you won't care that they once shot a movie scene here, all you care is how to get more.

The waiting time to come in (1.5-2 hours minimum) doesn't worth the outcome at all. Terrible service (the waiters don't seem to care about you at all -- we've got inquired about an order after 20 minutes when we've got seated and pizza was served in another 30 minutes after having been ordered) and the pizza itself was awful: highly watered in the center, everything was wet and inedible except for the crust. All in all: don't waste your time and emotions for such questionable experience: better go for Mattozzi or any other pizzeria along the seashore - no need to stay 2 hours in queue and really great Neapolitan pizza
