Good feedback on g+ best practice so you don't get jammed up.

How does everyone feel about adding authorship to all pages of a site? (not to products on an e-commerce site), including the homepage?

A friend of mine has noticed an increase in rankings after adding authorship to every single page on a client's site.

The Ultimate Beginner's Guide To Reddit [INFOGRAPHIC]
To enlarge image: i.imgur.com/RdGbYoW.jpg

"This past March, Reddit received more than 114 million unique visitors.

Let that sink in for a minute. Frankly, that's a lot of visitors!

Reddit is an ideal place to discover what people in various niches are talking about, as well as come up with content ideas based on what's trending. Reddit is also a great place to build communities.

But diving into Reddit can be a bit intimidating. To help you navigate this social media site, WhoIsHostingThis created an infographic that describes how Reddit works, and offers tips on how to get the most from it."

Some key takeaways:

Read each subreddit's FAQ before getting sucked in. The FAQ will outline what's allowed and what's not.

Focus on subreddits that you are knowledgeable about.

Jump in and comments on things.

Find and share articles photos and videos you think are interesting or would be valuable to the members of subreddits.

I'm thinking about moving on to a new avatar.

I've had the "it's all you, and you're awesome" pointing avatar for a few years. I think it's a great reflection of me in real life when I'm excited and in my zone, but not sure that translates in the avatar.

What do you think? Keep it, or do a new look?

A Simple Trick to Turn Features Into Benefits (and Seduce Readers to Buy!)

Imagine you haven’t cycled for years ...
And you really don’t know much about bikes.
But you want to get fit again, and biking seems fun.

You go to your local bike store and tell the super-sporty-looking store assistant you’re looking for a bicycle to tour around the area.  Leisurely.

He tells you full of enthusiasm a hybrid would be ideal and shows you a few popular models. This one has 24 gears and it has cantilever brakes. That one has a Shimano drivetrain and disc brakes. And here’s a model currently on offer – it has an aluminum frame and hydraulic disc brakes.

Huh?

You have no idea what the guy is talking about. He makes you feel stupid. You feel like running home and giving up your plan about getting fit again.

Sounds strange?

It happens all the time on websites.

Websites are full of features, specifications, and technical details. But quite often they forget to tell readers what’s in it for them.

What’s your website like? Full of features? Or are you telling your readers what these features mean for them?

Learn a simple trick to turn features into benefits (and find out why you need to introduce problems): http://www.enchantingmarketing.com/features-and-benefits/

That's a bold claim. +Demian Farnworth backs it up.
When you master copywriting fundamentals you can take those skills anywhere. Take the Problem-Agitate-Solve formula for example ...

3 Ways To Grow Your Business With LinkedIn
http://ow.ly/wIGYs
#linkedin   #linkedinmarketing   #linkedintips   #socialmediamarketing
Let me ask you a question: Do you ever feel like everyone in your industry is doing the same thing? Everyone’s newsletters look the same. Everyone’s websites are starting to look the same. Same. Same. Same.
Don’t worry, you’re not alone;
I’ve faced this issue many times throughout my business journey. And what I’ve come to learn is that marketing is 10% what you say and 90% how you say it. Now if you’re marketing your company using the same methods as everyone else in your industry not only is it going to be hard to stand out but chances are your business will never be innovative enough to stay ahead of the pack.
And in my opinion there is no marketing tool more powerful in today’s business world than LinkedIn if your business is primarily B2B. With over 300 million users and 49% of those being key decision makers, LinkedIn has ultimately become one of the most valuable marketing resources of the 21st century.

Developing a Content Strategy for your Niche Site

Delivered as Promised - with great follow though! To cut to the chase, we had a fantastic experience with Wyzowl and absolutely recommend them. In hindsight, their video project pricing along with a promise to give high a level of service with unlimited revisions was exactly as promised. Truly exceptional service and follow through. Given the way other similar companies offer these services, Wyzowl seemed too good to be true and I was skeptical at first. But, it was exactly as advertised. They were highly involved, gave quality feedback fast! And did many revisions without ever raising concern on the requests we made. What they promise really is what you get! Anytime we requested feedback, needed email assistance or even a skype call, the folks at Wyzowl were happy to help. As for the project process - I felt it was well organized and their project management and approach to the video work is clearly structured for painless delivery of a high quality video. If I had to complain, I'd be stretching myself to grumble that we might have liked a few more voice over artists to choose from. But they provided plenty of options and we were very happy with the results of the voice over we received. It's a well earned and deserved five star recommendation from us.
