I absolutely love La Boulange. My coworker and I were in San Fran on a business trip, and despite wanting to try all the good places, we couldn't help but eat here every.single.day. All the pastries were incredible. And the specialty coffee drinks were delicious. My favorite coffeehouse of all time. I hope you will open up in Boston!!

La Boulange is one of my favorite San Francisco chains with consistently good food and coffee and excellent pastries. I really like this location for breakfast as you can sit on the sidewalk and watch Polk street start to wake up. Although portion sizes seem to have gone down over the years, the food is still fairly good and it's still plenty of food for me. I also love their cappuccino's in the big cups. Definitely a causal atmosphere although not exactly cheap either. Worth the visit.

Word on the street is this place was aquired by starbucks... ...and it shows. food was mediocre; consitantly mediocre. staff was half friendly, the other not at all. one order was wrong, one was missing. the missing one was wrong when it came. I guess they havne't come up with a handy writting on the cup style order to make sure they mess it up. I had heard other locations were decent so maybe just a one time thing. either way, cook brunch at home.

Great place for breakfast - their pains au chocolat and hazelnut croissants are good! Always happy to be there :)

Sometimes a bit slow but worth the wait. Lunch: Tri-tip sandwich is excellent. Brunch: the french toast is killer and like no other I've tried. They serve their mochas in giant bowls! Which is kind of fun.

Came here for a quick breakfast and it was nearly noon. Glad to see they have a good brunch menu as well as lunch. Ther cashier was very nice and the food came out quickly. I had the croissant sandwich with cheese and bacon, side of fruit which was fresh and delicious.

I love the ambiance of this place. It's a great place to grab brunch with friends or go in for a coffee. I don't care so much for the food, but it's a nice little corner bistro that reminds me a little bit of Paris. They have outdoor seating (only a couple seats) that is really nice on a sunny day...in the rare case that San Francisco is actually warm ;)
