LOL I can believe this..and am trying to figure out what part of Georgia she is from. That's a middle-Georgia accent if ever I heard one.
But yeah..common sense isn't so common around here. A few years back I had a co-worker who was studying for her US Citizenship exam and had another co-worker asking some sample test questions. One asked how many US states there were, and a third co-worker wanted to argue that she believed that there were 51 now because Canada was a new state. I told the third person that it was a different country, but she did not believe me because "it's attached"
I guess that means there should be 52 states, in which case my Mexican co-worker would not even NEED to take the citizenship exam then.
