On February 1, 2009, I walked into Fairfax hospital for brain surgery. About 12 hours later, my family heard the difficult news that my tumor was not benign and that some of it could not be removed. I was told the next morning. Four day later, I was discharged right before Snowmageddon 2009 hit. Exactly two years later, I'm working on my latest manuscript editing job and enjoying 70 degree weather by walking to the park with Nate. Oh, God is good. Life is beautiful.
